The pool is gross, the water is absolutely disgusting. There is dirt and mold in the pool changerooms. Our hotel room is comparable to a Super 8 motel, no better. The bathroom in the room again, was not clean. I found a dirty pair of socks from a prior visitor in my room....gross. The facilities are in serious need of an uplift. Not worth the money... on a good note, the food in the restaurant is great, the staff is very friendly and the location is excellent. My advice stay somewhere else, if you can afford to stay here.

Stayed for NHL All-Star weekend. Pros: Very good value for under $100 in the off-season. Clean, spacious rooms, good soundproofing of walls. Super-comfortable beds & pillows (both soft & hard). Pleasant & efficient staff. One block from Metro subway (either Place-des-Arts or McGill stops). Huge liquor store one block south, though limited hours (noon-6pm). Cons: Soundproofing of doors is non-existent. Expect to hear every door slam and drunken conversation in the hall thanks to extensive gaps around doors. Bring earplugs. $26/night for underground parking. Pool area closes at 9pm, even on weekends. TV has ~25 channels, with only a handful in English. Tip: While centrally located, the area becomes a ghost town at night in the winter, even on weekends. Need to walk 12 blocks west to hit the nightlife & fine dining or 10 blocks south for Old Montreal. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

I have never written a review and I thought I would never, but after stayed in this Montreal Delta (475 Avenue Du Président-Kennedy), I have to. This is top of my worst experience in a so called 4 star hotel : First, once we enter the room, my kids found some dirty beer caps still on the floor, room was not properly clean, and they almost hurt their feets, lucky my boy still had his socks on! And about 15 minutes later, 2 other guests just entered our room in the middle of our changing our clothes, we called front desk and they said will send someone a set of new access cards right away. After 3 hours, nobody showed up and I tried to called more than 10 times in between to the front desk and no one answers. Finally, I have to try to call the operator and connect to the front desk and after a long ring, someone answered and send us the new access cards. When I told me about how the room condition to the staff, all she said was "OH!" Very bad service and experience and I very close to check out but was very tired after been travel almost a week ahead before Montreal, our last destination of the trip. I have been in Montreal over dozens of times and this was the first time I stayed in Delta Montreal and I will never never stay in Montreal Delta again even they pay me for it!

I stayed in a top floor room, during the 2008 Montreal Jazz Fest. Nice location! Bring lots of cash because credit cards are not so convenient to use. Great middle eastern lunch place is 2 blocks away from hotel. I had a great 90 minute massage from Natalia in the hotel's spa. Very close to Metro. I would stay at the Montreal Delta again.

Great Location! Lovely large room. Bed was outstanding! We want a mattress just like that one! T.V. remote worked sporadically. Charged for 2 movies which we did NOT see but they kindly removed the charges after we brought it to their attention. Disappointed in balcony. Just cement, with dirt and cobwebs in corners. No chairs on balcony. Gift Shop personnel not friendly and wouldn't let me use my husband's credit card. Rest of the Staff was very accommodating and food was wonderful! We would stay there again but I'll carry my "joint" credit card at all times.

We just stayed five nights at this hotel. Each staff member we talked to was professional and very effecient. We had a slight maintenance problem in our room and everyone envolved went out of their way to resolve the problem. We have traveled extensively world wide and have never experienced any better service or room at any price and the location was great.

This was an outstanding hotel for the price. Compared to, for example, the Fairmont QE, the rooms are large and well appointed. Balcony. Really did have free internet access. Good service. Pleasant surprises at hotels are a rare experience for me but this was one.

The location was alright. But I paid about 300 a night so it wasn't a good deal. I can't wait to go back but not to this hotel.

What was there to dislike?The staff was beyond friendly and extremely helpful.The room was beautiful,comfortable,and very clean (which is very important).The room service was excellent as was the food,and the service was very quick.My boyfriend loved the pool,and I loved the spa.Overall,our stay was everything we were hoping for.

Large clean room, very nice staff. Make sure you don't face the condo construction next door if you want to sleep late on weekdays.
