definitely would stay here again
By ,
My family stayed for 4 nights and from the time we entered the hotel to our departure we were treated with the utmost respect. The room was always well maintained, clean and spacious. We had a beautiful view of the city and we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is centrally located and in walking distance of the Eatons Center and other attractions. A++++ all around hotel. Looking to book again very soon. Would love to be a repeat guest. Thanks for everything

Nightmare
By ,
From the beginning this hotel had been a disaster. Responses to my e-mail questions were slow and unhelpful. When we arrived to Gerrard Street, we were greeted by 1000 people protesting the hotel yelling, "Delta Chelsea, you're no good, treat your workers like you should!" After about 1/2 hour when we could finally get into the hotel, we addressed this concern to the man at the front desk. He pretended he didn't know what was going on outside. Clearly we were concerned we would not be able to come and go, but no explanation was offered. Then, when we got to our room, neither of the key cards worked, sending us back down 17 floors on congested elevators. Later that night we asked for directions from the concierge desk, who gave us very convincing detailed verbal directions - but the store didn't actually exist in that location. When we came back to the concierge desk he was insistant that we just couldn't find the store and was very sarcastic. Checking in the phone book later that night, we found he sent us in the opposite direction up Yonge street (he used specific landmarks in the wrong direction). I didn't feel that the staff was very welcoming and would not return to this hotel if they offered me a free night's stay. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Solid Hotel in Solid Location
By ,
Great Location. Busy lobby that gives a great sense of the city. Rooms were not overly impressive, but solid for this price range. There was a late fire alarm on our floor and the manager promptly gave us a free night, when he wasn't obligated to do so. I will go back.

very disappointing
By ,
I just recently spent a week at the delta chelsea in toronto.. as for location . that is the only thing i liked. The service at the front desk was way over rated. I arrived at my hotel to find the TV was not working. I began calling the front desk for service and I was put through to about 3 people to re-explain the problem. It took 1 hour for someone to show up. and then I had to be transferred to another room so i packed up to move. But at the last minute they fixed the TV so I again unpacked. No apology from the front desk. Around the third night at about 9 pm what appeared to be a hotel employee knocked at the door so I called out without opening the door. The employee said that he was just checking on the guests. I found this to be a little bizarre.. AS a single female , I was worried.. I called the front desk to make sure it was an staff member , they had no idea what I was talking about. She was supposed to check this out. and call back.. no one ever called back. Needless to say I had hardly any sleep that night. On the last day of my stay the toilet over flowed. I would never again be staying at this hotel. The service from the front desk is very slow and really not deserving of a 3 star hotel. I really hope that this complaint is taken seriously. You really need to work on the front desk staff when receiving calls from the room. The guy who checked me in was the only one that was of any help. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would of changed hotels in the middle of the week but it was being paid for by my employer and previously arranged. The service was very disappointing.

Best decision ever!
By ,
I loved it! I was going on a vacation in order to relax, go shop and enjoy myself! It was a great choice! We had the new signature club room, with all the updates, modern room, king size bed, with a complementary continental breakfast, and snacks @ night! amazing... the only thing was when we were received... I was impressed by the fact that the check in was really fast... but the thing is... the lady did not tell us anything about the hotel or our room ... Good thing the website is great... but overall... AMAZING EXPERIENCE~~~ Well worth it! close to everything!!!!! AMAZING!! the POOLS!! one for adults...the other for kids, and the corckscrew slide! A lot of fun! I really enjoyed m y stay at the Delta!

Close to the heart of the city
By ,
For the money this hotel has the best downtown location. Steps from Yonge Street, great tourist hang out and a short walk to the subway station. Clean comfortable rooms with friendly staff. Has lots of kids stuff to including an indoor water slide. One of my first choices when in Toronto

Got to love a little luxury
By ,
Right in the heart of Toronto, you're right next to all the major sightseeing attractions. Close to the Theatre District, shopping and some of the best restaurants in Canada, the Delta Chelsea Toronto is the tops for luxury, convenience, service and cleanliness. You'll be pampered and spoiled by the staff! Enjoy!
