it was the most excellent place i have ever been all it has exellent information if you plug your labtop it will tell you about everything 2 miles from the hotel ex.CN Tower and the hocky hall of fame.there is a pool and and a gym not to mention a ball room.if you are lazy this is the place to go they have everthing with in the hotel and the servents bring you brekfast lunch and dinner in you room on a table on wheels all set up.the t.v is on a board that whells out and moves in any angle.the beds are incredibal.i am a frequent flyer and to tell you the truth i go to a lot of five star hotels this one is incredibal the servants will wait for you you have speed dial for everthing they play music when they put you on hold you will enjoy every seconde take a vacation and have the time of your life.

Having stayed in Fairmont hotels in the past, I expected a bit more from the Royal York. While the hotel is attractive and the service was wonderful, the room was quite small and had very outdated furnishings. The bed was downright uncomfortable. While the staff were wonderful -- extremely helpful and courteous -- the room was below-average. I would look elsewhere next time I am in Toronto.
