The Fairmont Royal York, Toronto

I loved everything about this hotel me and my friend went there to learn and we did, the rooms are very beautiful and if i had a nother chance i would deffinitly stay in that hotel in the exact room

We stayed at the Royal York in November 2004, having also stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, and quite frankly the two do not compare, We were amazed at how polite and friendly the staff at the Royal York were, the cleanliness was second to none. When you consider the difference in price between the two hotels I think the Royal York can feel very proud of the service that they offer. I cannot think of one thing that I disliked about this place. If you want value for money and to be treated like royalty, stay at the Royal York

I liked the fact that it was literally right across the street from the train station from which I arrived. I also liked the fact that it was close to all of the atractions that I wanted to see. Very convenient!! The service there was excellent. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!

when a water pipe goes that effects an entire tower of the hotel one would think that at the "check in desk" they might have for seen this to be a problem. Well not our friends at this 'hotel' This place functions on its reputation not on its quality

Very comfortable rooms...when travelling on business I am more comfortable than at home. Nice gym for a hotel and the pool while small is very relaxing. This hotel has loads of character and is in a great location.

It was a great place to stay, however the price was too high.

The Fairmont Royal York, is a comfortable attractive hotel. Stay where kings and queens have slept. The hotel is within walking distance of Toronto's great attractions. In the standard guest room, the bathroom is off smaller size, with little counter space. When you consider how old the hotel is, this can be overlooked. Most of the rooms are generously sized. The hotel conceirge staff are great and now the city well. The hotel is a bit akward for the physically challenged when you enter off of Front Street. The bell staff is there to quickly help you to the lift. I would return.

Me and my husband visited Toronto in Feb. 04. I had chosen The Fairmont because I heard good things about them. The staff is excellent here. We scheduled tour with the concierge and they gave us a lot of great suggestions on restaurant dining and place to see. If I visit Toronto again, I will pick here to stay.

The room I stayed in was at least 3x larger than my apartment. The bathroom was a bit small, compared to all the empty floor space in the room. The hotel provides great service and is in a central location.

From the minute you walk in the door, one realizes this is what defines "Grand Hotel!" Magnificent lobby, courteous staff, money exchange at favorable rates - all right there! Rooms are also very nice and one can't beat the location! No need to rent a car when access to all forms of public transportation is right across the street at the rail station. This is easily accessed via underground tunnel, so one doesn't even have to deal with crossing the busy street. Just a wonderful, historic place that you're sure to enjoy!
