Super 8 Hotel Victoria, Victoria

the registration was good ,above average and courteous. Our room was physically comfortable and a good size. The hotel is awkward to enter from the road way in three out of four directions even though the hotel is at the other end of the block from a crossroad.the wash sink was awkward to use being as little as one in a little camper. the hotel is very nicely refurbished,however, the old squeaky floors were not secured well enough,so you heard every step that the person took above you in the night. The noise,voices from the rooms and hallways were heard quite clearly,sound proofing if any not adequit. The ad says in room coffee but did not have coffee maker in room and when asking about it at the front desk,the reply was "we're not the Marriot" and the restaurant is still being re-done. I have stayed in the "8" many times in my travels across Canada and America and this is the first one that did not supply in room coffee nor continental breakfast even though the restaurant was not operational,not taking up the National standard set by the chain
