4 reviews for The Listel Hotel, Vancouver
Good location but prepare to pay more.
By NAHEED J, 01/15/07
Listel is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It is a nice hotel but I did find some problems, 1. They only have valet parking ($25 a day, so if you have a car there it could get expensive really fast) 2. Room we stayed in had a queen size bed for 2 people and was rather small compared to a standard hotel room. 3. Room needed some repainting and remodeling altought the fixtures were quite artistic. 4. No complimentaly breakfast, not even a cup of coffee in the lobby area. 5.Wireless access is $10 a day (most hotels now a days provide complimentary wireless web access) 6. Also, they had lots of goodies in the room, like chocolates, chips, juices, water and blah blah blah, almost like a sales counter on a rack in the room. The water bottle was like close to $6, you can imagine the prices of other stuff (People with kids will specially have a hard time, so prepare to spend some more money) The hotel itself is nice and the service is wonderful. I would give them a rating between 2.5 to 3 stars. Have fun in Vancouver, its a nice place and we really liked it.

I will be returning
By JudyD, 01/06/06
From the moment I walked into the Listel and when I left the service was outstanding. I have no complaints regarding anything about the hotel. My room was large and clean. My morning tea was delivered with a smile and inquiry of what I did the day before and what my plans for the day were. My time at the Listel was in October 2005 and I plan to return in September 2006.

Location Location Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/05
The location of this hotel is premium. Right on Robertson, in the middle of shops, restaurants and cafes. The room decor was pretty nice and modern. The bathrooms are a little older than the decor but it was clean and comfortable. The sinks are on the outside of the tub and toilette so you can 'share' the bathroom in comfort.

Not as expected
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/05
Photos of rooms shown on-line are not indicative of rooms available. Stayed there late sept. 2005. Confirmed reservation was for Museum floor. I was upgraded to the "pent house suite". A nice gesture, but the suite decor was very dated - at least 20 years old. Mattress was heavily worn-out on left side of bed. Hotel needs to state not all rooms in contemporary state as shown on web site. The ultra-modern gallery look of the rooms,as shown on their web site, was what attracted us to book at this hotel.
