Travelodge Hotel Calgary Macleod, Calgary

At $119 a night, this place was a huge disappointment. Desk clerk barely spoke English, and we unfortunately did not know Chinese, so not sure of most of what he said. P.S. I speak 3 languages and usually have no problem in this area. No computer in lobby, elevator was broken, drink machine broken, chipped paint, garbage cans overflowing at back entrance, put us on 3rd floor when we had a dog to walk 10x a day, air conditioner broken, trucking company took up parking spaces, view of dumpsters (and a few dumpster divers), maids did not clean room until after 5 pm so had to request clean towels 3 days out of the 6, bathtub had a big crack down the center with epoxy glue to fix, didn't get many tv stations, windows filthy, no screen on our window, party across the hall 2 nights in a row, no breakfast or even coffee included, big water stain on carpet outside of doorway - oh I could go on! What a total rip off, Motel 6 would have been a better choice, except NO REFUNDS! I hate this place, purchased it through CHEAPTICKETS, who rated it as a 4.5 out of 5! We are through booking through cheaptickets, who were not cheap and had inaccurate info. IN A NUTSHELL, DON'T USE THIS HOTEL, go to Motel 6 and save your money and get what you pay for.

this was the best lodging experiance of my life. I have travled many places and in my day I have never enjoyed my stay in a motel as much as I did the night I stayed here. The rooms are beautiful the view is vibrant. An experiance that anyone in their right mind should experiance first hand.
