In 1902 William F Cody, AKA Buffalo Bill, built this hotel in which he lived. Some walls are made of river rock and sandstone from Beck Lake, south of town. The fireplace is an assemblage of materials from Big Horn Basin. Irma s famous cherrywood bar dates to the period of construction and is one of the most photographed features in all of Cody.
