Completely unprepared and understaffed

I stayed at the Ramada whiles attending a large 3-day seminar at the attached convention center. The convention and rooms were booked months in advance. The hotel was full, and was completely unprepared to handle a large group even though the convention and rooms were booked months in advance. It took 45 minutes in line to check in, even though there were only about 5 people ahead of us in line, because there was only one person at the front desk even though they knew that everyone was checking in that day. We all received tickets for breakfast, but the kitchen and restaurant were so understaffed that there was almost no food, coffee, or waitstaff available. I felt sorry for the staff who were working; they were trying their best, and were surprisingly pleasant considering they had a couple hundred angry people to deal with. Astonishingly poor management - it's their job to make sure that they are adequately staffed and that staff are prepared.
