5 reviews for Best Western Woodsview Inn, Milwaukee
Dirty and noisey
By Joe R, 01/05/09
The staff was very friendly and (for the most part) helpful. The parking lot was very cramped. However, we did find a parking spot close to the door. The elevator was tiny. We managed to squeeze 4 people in to it, and then laughed about the "Maximum Capacity 10" sign on the wall. The room itself was fairly clean and about what should be expected from a hotel in this price range. The wireless internet service worked fine. The TV gave us a little trouble. NBC didn't show up until I rescanned the channels, and then I could only watch it with out sound, which made the playoff game I was trying to watch a little annoying. The pool area was not very clean. The tiles around the swimming pool had a slippery film on them, and the suds in the hot tub left an interesting brown pattern on the tiles when the bubblers turned off. The walls in the room were very thin. We were trying to get to sleep at 11:30, but the TV in one of the rooms above us was keeping us up. The girl at the front desk said that calling the room above us was all she could do since she couldn't leave her desk. The restaurant in the basement was filthy and the food was awful. The service was friendly though. The small amount of rain that had fallen during the night and frozen in the morning made getting to our car very treacherous, since we had had to park on a steep hill and no one had bothered to salt the parking lot.

Dirty hotel rooms, uncomfortable stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/23/07
I stayed here for a seminar I had in Milwaukee. I drove there at about 8p.m. and noticed that the area was very shady. I am a woman staying here alone and was scared. The front desk was helpful but when I got to the room, I noticed there were bugs in the shower. These were weird looking big brown ones crawling around. I got into the bed and was itching all night possibly from the sheets. When I tried to fall asleep I noticed how loud it was here. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. I couldn't fall asleep for hours because of all the noise. I checked out a day early and stayed with a friend 30 minutes away.

disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/07
The rooms were very tiny. Could hardly move in them. The pool area is also available to apartment complex residence. The big complex adjoins the hotel. Elevator could fit 3 people. Front desk wasnt helpful at all. Couldnt even help with direction. Parking is very confusing and limited. Never went to restaurant so i cant comment about that. Hotel is in a residential area.

Great location for a Brewer's game
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/06
We were in Milwaukee to go to a Brewer's game. The location was ideal because we could walk to the stadium. We will stay there again the next time we go to a game.

Don't use the pool
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/05
The tiles have a dirt film on them you can write on (like everyone already did). It was the most discusting pool I have ever used and I still don't think that they have a salt waterpool, so why did it taste like salt? You can only wonder.
