Best Country Inn and Suites, Elkins

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and i though is was a very nice place.

no hot water...the power kept going out...dirty. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because the roof seemed to keep the rain out.

Fisrt let me say, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I usually stay at Days Inn, but this place was a little cheaper. The experience started with a hateful, dirty looking girl @ the front desk, who told me that I had to wait until 2 pm to check in (it was 1:50 already), no big deal I went and ate. Then, I come back get into the room and the heater doesn't work, after being greeted by screaming kids in the front lobby, they move me to a DIRTY room, so...once again I move to another room. Although this room was a little cleaner, the nasty smell in the room just put the icing on the cake. I made it through the night, and checked out, it was the worst $60 I have every spent...take my advice spend the extra $10, at least you know your staying some where clean at the Days Inn!! (or I hear the Super 8 is even nice) And my favorite part, upon check out, I'm told I'll haveto contact the owner to share my concerns...3 calls to this person and no call back...hum, seems to me he/she is in it for only the money, do they not care that their hotel is a FLEA TRAP!!!
