AWSOME PLACE!!!!!
By Jen, 11/22/09
We visited Anacortes just on a day trip and stumbled upon the Ship Harbor Inn. It was set in a wooded area and had a view of the Guemes channel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and they have been going through some changes to update them. I decided to stay another night and had to change rooms but that was my fault as I did not plan ahead. They rates were reasonable and the breakfast was set up in a cute little breakfast room. I was there during the Oyster Run and it was very busy and the staff was running around trying to accomadate everyone. I will return to Ship Harbor Inn but I will check the calendar of events to see if it will be a little busy.

Dont waste your money
By Tom, 10/09/09
Very disappointed. Great website, but the property does not match the quality of the website. Don't count on a view, its there but disappointing. I got a room with a fireplace, that was a joke, it sat in the corner and looks like a Walmart product for less then $100. Don't waste your money. The towels appeared nice but the quality was very poor. I have found better quality towels at my YMCA. I checked in around 7:15 pm, the office closed 30 seconds after that. Free Internet, not made available to me. Free breakfast? Not sure, it looked like something was set up in a garage two building down as I drove out, but no one said anything to me about that. Nothing in the room tells you what is going on, a simple one page document could have had the access code for the Internet, described the breakfast arrangement and maybe a list of TV channels. Did I say no one was in the office? I would not stay here again and would not recommend.

A real Ripoff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/08
You do not have the extensive ocean view they claim, totally overpriced for the age of the Inn, it is old and sadly needs updating. We did not know about the Oyster Run Bike Rally so the Inn was very busy and we had to change rooms to stay an extra night but we were not told the rate jumped $25.00 because the second room had a" pink" jacuzzi. We loved Annacortes but will never stay at Ship Harbor Inn again.

Great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/08
This is a great place. Rooms are large, have nice views of trees and water in most rooms, some fireplaces (even though electric). I stayed in one of those rooms that make you want to have a late checkout. Pretty nice for Anacortes. the office closes early, so make sure you are there in time and have your reservation.

Best of Anacortes
By ScottM, 07/10/06
We had reservations placed a month in advance at a chain motel in town. Got there and theylost our reservations! Gee Sorry, we're full. Found Ships Harbor by asking in town. GREAT Motel, the staff is the best, location and view is great. It has a very nice layout, with motel and cabin type accomadations. Unless a five star hotel is built in Town with great location, staff and rates; you won't find a better place to stay. Whatever your plans allow, plan on at least several extra days to explore extra islands and byways.

super
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/06
This place is so great...quaint and special. The owners are so nice and personable. The petting zoo was a small town added touch! Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location superb! Family owned, small touches...if it remains with this small family group, we would return. Beautiful views, quiet and convenient.

Would love to go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/05
We stayed in Ship Harbor Inn on September 12, 2005. We were only there a short time but it was memorable. We were going to have to leave early the next morning for the ferry and would be to early for the contential breakfast. They put muffins, oatmeal, milk, juice, etc., in our room before we checked in so we would have it the next morning. The service was great, very clean and beautiful area...and oh so close to ferry.

wonderful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/11/04
We've stayed at this motel many times in the past when we're taking the ferry across the San Juans. We've loved it every time and are glad it's so conveniently located to the ferry. Great place!
