A Pleasant Surprise
By ,
Don't let the outside fool you. We booked this hotel because we had an early ferry trip the next morning. The rooms were nice, clean and had a balcony overlooking the water. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to some local attractions that were fantastic. We wish we had another day to spend here and we will definitely stay here the next time we are in Anacortes.

Awesome!

I liked the convenience of being close to the Ferry and having breakfast ready in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and great room with a view.

Very coomfortable and convenient
By ,
Ship Harbor staff and services worked perfectly for us as we toured the tulip fields and then headed for a walk-on trrip to Friday Harbor. Four adults and a toddler were nicely accomodated in the two room/one bath unit. The room and beds were very clean and comfortable. Terrific view into the San Juans. Breakfast offerings were fresh and tasty. We would go back.

Heavenly Retreat
By ,
The Ship Harbor Inn is a perfect place for a romantic get away. The cottages and rooms are well appointed, clean and perfectly maintained. The Inn provides a beautiful view of the ferry coming into port. Enjoy a glass of wine out on the lawn and watch a wide variety of wild life come and go. Nothing could be more romantic!

Will come back!
By ,
Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our visit very much. The only downside was that our room was quite small...next time will get a bigger room as the price was a bit high for the size. Very clean and the staff very friendly.

We found a jewel off the I-5
By ,
We liked everything about the Ship Harbor Inn. The view and general ambience of the location was spectacular. Everything about our room was excellent. We had a jacuzzi tub, kitchenette and fireplace. It couldn't have been lovelier and like our own home for a few days. We will stay again. We chose it while looking on line because it was pet friendly but it is much more than that. We found the rates very reasonable, much less than for a basic room at a hotel on the freeway but offering so much more. I found the view great, as there has been trimming going on and I enjoyed seeing the activity on the water. Just lovely. Will go again

Excellent stay
By ,
After looking online and making several phone calls, I settled on Ship Harbor as being the perfect property for our weekend getaway. We were very pleased upon arrival with the layout of the buildings and the beautiful view. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room has obviously been recently renovated, well appointed with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. As we always travel with our 2 little dogs it is especially important that the property allowed them to stay as well. Lots of open property to walk them that was convenient to get to. The only downfall was previous dog owners did not pick up after their pets ! We highly recommend The Ship Harbor Inn and look forward to staying with them in the future.

Perfect for us
By ,
We spent a drizzly (of course- it's February!) night here to set up for a trip to the Islands, which the Inn's location makes as easy as it gets. Had a wonderful room that appeared to have just been renovated and was absolutely clean and very comfortable. We were on the road for three weeks living in motels and never had a nicer room--even at twice the price in Friday Harbor. The fireplace, fridge, microwave, and coffemaker were much appreciated. I don't normally bother posting reviews, but felt this place deserved the effort. We'll be back in the summer!

Disappointed
By ,
Everything seemed like it should be perfect — great location, helpful staff, lovely outdoor space from sliding door, to enjoy the view and an end-of-day glass of wine. However, the room smells of mold, with an air freshener coverup that isn't successful. I am very allergic and will take at least 3 days to recover from the poor quality of air.

Can't wait to go back
By ,
It was like staying in a national forest. Could look out and see the bay and ferries coming and going. Deer grazing outside. Could walk to the ferry and avoid hassles. WONDERFUL STAFF told us about the quiet local beach a few minutes away where we watched sunset for two evenings. Go Enjoy! (Had a great set up: bedrooms separated by pocket doors with the bathroom/microwave area in the center. )
