Stylish Comfort says it all
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/4/10
The Seattle Sheraton is exactly what the website promised...Stylish Comfort. It is a modern, warm, updated hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. I was impressed with the 35th floor workout gym and swimming pool. Their gym can easily accommodate 20 people on treadmills and elliptical machines at any given time. Other equipment is available as well. The 32nd floor Club Lounge offers a serene view of downtown Seattle with a glimpse of the Puget Sound. We found the staff was friendly and approachable. Fair warning, parking in Seattle is expensive everywhere. Look for a package that includes valet parking. Paying a little more for the convenience to come and go as you please can actually save you money.

Overall, a good experience.
By Matt, 1/21/08
I stayed here for a convention in April of 2007 and was thoroughly impressed. I should mention that I don't do much traveling so I don't have much of a basis for comparison, but I do know good service when I see it. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the one issue I had there was resolved promptly (I was under 21 at the time but wanted to use the minibar as a makeshift refrigerator- they comped me a fridge instead). The room was clean and well-kept, the bathroom was well-supplied and fairly spacious. I didn't bother with the restaurant or room service, just too expensive, and I wish parking wasn't so costly either. Nothing happened to really 'wow' me, but aside from the prices I really have no complaints; I will probably stay there again on my next trip to Seattle later this year.

Great if you're not driving
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/07
Don't stay here if you're driving. Parking is valet-only @$35/night. Plus another $35/night parking, so that's a $70/night parking rate. Great location though - close to many options for shopping & food.

Will not go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/27/07
Thet were no help to us at all. No idea of what is available in the city and left us stranded. Saw others who were not happy. I do not recommend it for a vacation.

Under Construction
By Money Honey, 6/19/07
For the most part I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Seattle. The staff was fabulous, really top notch. The hotel is extremely easy to get to even if you are completely unfamiliar with Seattle (like I was), right off of I-5. The location can't be beat, a short walk to everywhere you want to be, including the monorail that takes you to the Space Needle. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were relatively comfortable. My only real complaints were that the hotel does not have a gift shop (which I really needed when I got in late, and the airline lost my luggage)because it is under construction, and the restaurant and lounge were nothing special. I wish they had Wi-Fi available in the guest rooms, but you'll have to settle for free wireless access in the second floor lounge area. Other than that it was a great stay!

Good but...
By jayhibb, 6/11/07
I am a regular traveler and see a lot of hotels. This Sheraton was a typical business type hotel. Didn't use room service but the pool and fitness center were good. There was some construction/renovation going on but it didn't seem to affect the guests. All in all, a fine stay and a decent value.

Under Expansion
By Virginia_Dave, 6/23/06
A very nice hotel I had to downgrade due to the expansion work which is 7 days a week. If you stay here make sure to stay at the highest floor possible to be away from the noise. I requested that and stayed on #27 out of 34 and it was not high enough. I did not eat in the restaurant since a $15 omelet seemed high. Great central location to everything though and if you are in for a convention it is only one block away so that was great. Until the expansion is done I think there are many other better choices to make.

What a great pool!
By Claudia, 9/28/05
I liked the pool the best. It's hard to find a pool to swim laps in. The rooms are very nice. The ambiance is wonderful.

Location, Lcation, Location
By bigfartass, 9/13/05
I love that is right across the street from Gameworks and multiplex movie theatre. Just down from the Convetion and within walking distance fo everything that is downtown Seattle. The hot tub has awesome bubbles for the back. The brunch in the cafe is excellent, a bit pricey though.
