Way Overpriced
By ,
Towels thin and scratchy. Housekeeping neglected to make up our room one day. Needs interior decorating update. Lobby, which looks burnished in photos, is actually painted a mousy brown which does nothing to showcase its traditional detailing. Upholstery on the chairs in our room was stained and showed obvious wear. Bathroom was elegant, and OK for showering, but when bathing I had to stand up in tub to reach faucet and add water. For half the price, this would be a wonderful hotel and we would have been more forgiving about the housekeeping lapse. But for the price paid, the accommodations should have been luxurious and the service impeccable, which they weren't. Location is great.

Everyone treats you well. Felt like I was in a Spa retreat. Beautiful place in a beautiful city. The rooms had everything you needed. The attention to detail was noticable. Room service was great.

1st Class all the way!
By ,
My wife & I had dinner with our family in the dining room. Elwood [Woody to his co-workers] works in the kitchen and arranged an awesome array of fine cuisine. I don't know if we will ever taste such fine food, until we go back for more! And, best of all our son & girlfriend Emily had us stay in one of your fine suites for one night and we were treated like royalty! We were delighted with this pleasant surprise. The breakfast, served in our room, was something else! Its a time we will not soon forget. Many thanks to the staff, you are awesome! Laura & Charlie Thompson

Your wife deserves it!
By ,
This is the kind of place that you need to save up your money for and then take your wife there for at least 2 nights, no kids, room service, sleep in, read books, get up late and enjoy Seattle, then come back with a bottle of champaigne and toast to your wonderful wife and all the years she has had to put up with you!

One of the best for a reason
By ,
It has been years since i have been here. 2005 To be exact. And this is one hotel that will always stick out in my mind. The service, perfect. The rooms, spacious and clean. The bathrooms, elegant. And the lobby, 5 Star material. However, the only downside to this wonderful hotel is the price. Although, totally worth it in my opinion. I will be back!

Original site for the University of Washington

Spectacular place with subdued elegance. Great location with shopping all around. Near the 5th Ave Theatre and just a few steps to Seattle's shopping district.

Dogs at the Four Sea...UH.. Fairmont
By ,
The Fairmont Olympic, nee Four Seasons Olympic, is one of those htels in a class by itself. The Old-World feel is evident at every turn. The only negative comment would be that things are a bit "lived in." No reasonable request goes unanswered whether it is dry cleaning and mending at 2 AM or high-tea in the Georgian room. This place has it all. The Hotel does not do anything overt to accommodate four legged friends but also do not bat an eyelash at the prospect of them pattering through the lobby.
