Shelton Inn, Shelton

The new owners have made many upgrades and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was very good. The owners are very friendly and could not have made our large group feel more welcome.

New owners have really tried to get teir place looking great! Real clean rooms,great breakfasts,and real nice people run it now. Walking distance to restuarants,or eat at the restuarant at the motel. Will definetly be back in 2010.

Wonderful Shelton hospitality by the new owners at this motel. Registration was accurate & quick. Clean updated rooms. Lobby breakfast more than adequate and replenished frequently. Security cameras on property. Centrally located. Limited efficiencies - no hair dryer, small soaps & towels. Thank-you Sky. We will be back.

New ownership, newly renovated, including bathroom fixtures, tile, granite countertops, carpet in unit, and wireless internet - mind you, router did not reach our unit at the far end of the complex. Air conditioner was a godsend considering the hot weather during our stay. Provided a great breakfast, including scrambled eggs and all the usual items. Very friendly owners - went out of their way to accomodate our team's needs (stayed here with ball team for local tournament). Great downtown location for restaurants - even a Safeway directly behind motel (including a Starbucks inside)

Front desk staff was friendly. my room was so clean & comfortable.it was one of renovated room recently. best location in down town shelton. i arrived at 11:30 pm at night, room was warm and nice!!!

Convenient to get to from the highway. Nice office staff. Rooms were clean but really old carpeting and tub caulking. Refridge in room was handy. Wireless internet was easy. When I plugged in the computer, I saw some sparks from the outlet near the desk, so I plugged it in at another outlet which was fine.

Good: front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Bad: room was old and dirty. Tub/shower full of rust and mildew. Husband refused to shower. Thread-bare bath towels belonged in a rag bag. Carpet old and dirty-my socks looked like I had been walking outside. No alarm clock in room. The closed swimming pool was full of green yuck of somekind. Once we saw the room we debated on asking for a refund and hitting the road. Next time we'll keep on driving and not stop in Shelton.
