Cheap Price, Cheap Staff
By Mr. Not Happy, 2/10/11
For the value, the place itself is a good value. I went to the front office to check my email and something went wrong with the their computer. I went to advise the front desk guy and he came over and in front of my family said it was due to "me" looking at porn on the Internet. My family watched everything and knew I was not doing any of the such on their computer. The guy made a total ass of himself. Hes lucky he didnt get slapped and my family was floored. If you can get past the creeps who work there, then its not such a bad place.

A+ for Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/6/10
We stayed here for one night in August prior to boarding a ferry heading to Alaska. We chose this motel because it was inexpensive and relatively close to the ferry terminal. The staff was amazing. They were incredibly helpful to my 92 yr-old father who arrived before us. They bent over backward to respond to our every request that evening and the next morning. I've had similar service in high end hotels, but did not expect it here. The room was very clean and breakfast was simple but, better than most continental breakfasts. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this establishment and its staff.

Very good value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/2/08
for 2 people, $65.00 was a very fair rate. We were to get a king size bed and didnt but were too tired to move. Friendly staff on a weekend when they were full. We found the breakfast, including fresh fruit, to be very sufficient and filling. We are kinda picky and are vegetarians and there was plenty to eat Very close to WWU

Good room for the price
By billiew, 7/30/08
Liked about the room: afford ably priced, good location, clean room, clean pool, friendliness of the staff Dislikes: beds were a little uncomfortable, breakfast was a little chintzy The beds were a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. Does not claim to be a 5 star, but had friendly service. No one walking around outside and was very quiet. Would most likely stay again.

Rude staff and not dog friendly!
By Beth, 4/18/08
The staff here was really rude to us. After a $20 pet deposit, they were difficult and not respectful when discussing my dog. They made me feel like an irresponsible pet owner which is not the case. The room was mostly clean despite the graffiti behind the tv and mold in the shower. The staff was mostly the rude part.

Was a Good Place For Middle Class Family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/07
The staff was very polite, family ran place i believe. Rooms are improving from my last visit at this motel. Lighting was very bad before, new lighting was being put up during this visit, so i believe there is some remodeling going on. Manager was talking about some new furniture coming into the place in the next few weeks, that sounds like this motel is upgrading. Building does not have any trace of smoke smells, unless in smoking building. Very good parking, No strangers walking around unlike other motels around this one.

Okay for a lower end motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/06
Things liked: Room rates; polite staff; location; good parking; free HBO. Things not liked: Rooms tend to have a moldy odor; smell of cigarette smoke even in non-smoking areas; inconsistency in rates quoted (from one employee to the next); lighting in parking area is insufficient.
