Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel, Virginia Beach

My husband and I researched this hotel on the internet and the Sheraton had excellent reviews so we decided to stay here. The Sheraton was the true definition of guest service, I would highly reccommend this hotel. The staff was extremely accomadating, we received free breakfast tickets for our wait at the front desk, which was not a long wait at all. The room we requested did not come with a microwave so the staff brought one up within 5 minutes, there was always a staff member at the elevator to open it for guest. Not to mention the rooms were very clean the view was beautiful. We could not have ask for anything more it was an all and all romantic weekend for my husband and I and we would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay. We were upgraded to an Oceanfront room due to lack of availability of the room we reserved. The staff was very nice and responded to most of our needs. The only negative item was the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. The shower head had pink stuff growing in it and the airfilter was very dirty. Even though these items were pointed out to the front desk...the maid service didn't clean them during our 3 night stay. The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance and the Valle parking was great at no charge. Highly recommend!

i was there on 23th to 25th of august and i had the time of my life i loved it there. it was my first time and i found it to be a place i would like to visit again. i stayed on the 4th floor and had a beachside view and i was so amazed in the sites i saw and the people that work for the company was very nice as well. i hope i get a chance to visit again it would be my hotel of choice if and when i reture thanks so much.

I liked the indoor and the out door pool but the out door pool is the better one!The T.V. could have been also bigger!What is up with the small 27inch.tv come on now if it's going to be small get HDTV!The gym could have been better and bigger but in all the place is clean and the view was like that on the 11th floor.I had fun!!

My stay at this Sheraton was awful!! The room I requested and was told I would receive when I called to confirm, was not the room I got. The front desk could have cared less. The bellman made up for the front desk's rudeness. Housekeeping did the bare basics when they came to clean. We tried to order room service before it closed and was told no one was available. The handle's on the sink fell off, and the food in the restaurant was awful as was the service. When we made attempts to speak with someone about our problems, we were ignored. Needless to say we will never stay there again and would WARN others to stay away as well. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpfull. I plan on visiting again for private visit not for business. Planning to bring my mother in law also.....

The beds are the most comfortable I have ever found in a hotel. I don't think I moved all night! We had great service from the staff while there for a Police Service. They made sure our group had whatever was needed.

It's mid-August and we have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Sheraton Oceanfront. All and all a very nice hotel. Its located at the north end of the beach, which is really nicer than the southern end. My room was very nice. I had a beach/pool view. The room appeared to have been recently remodeled, and the bed and linen were very clean. We had a problem with the AC system. It worked great during the 85-90 degree daytime hrs, but once you tried to lower the setting for the evening it began to smell "moldy". I later learned a few other guest had the same problem. The only other issue with the room was the maid not vacuuming the room for the first 3 days.. (thank god we are neat). The hotel has 3 pools (2 outside, 1 indoors) and they were never over crowded. 9 outta 10 staff members were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. I made several request for additional towels both poolside, and in our room and a staff members responded immediately. The restaurants buffet breakfast was very good, and the dinner was better than all of the restaurants on the strip. The room rate value was "fair" considering the time of year, but all and all I really enjoyed my stay, and would stay at this hotel again in 2006..

We ordered from the hotel restaurant for breakfast. That night one of my children threw up from the under-cooked sausage from breakfast, the potatoes were under-cooked and breakfast cost $42! My other child had diarrhea so bad that she couldn't make it to the bathroom fast enough, that she went in her underwear. Then my husband got sick from their food too. The restaurant staff was snobby starting with the hostess. She had no personality. And told us dinner wasn't served on Sunday til 5:30p.m. Then when we came back she was all smiles and said "HI GUYS", she was so fake. Our waitress was another staff member with no personality and I had to ask the Hostess to find our waitress cause my daughter's hot dog came cold like it had just come out of the refrigertor. They didn't get my husband's order right at all. Our waitress never came back to the table after she gave us our meals, I had the Hostess track her down. So we left no tip. First time we have EVER EVER left no tip. That hotel needs to train their staff better especially the restaurant staff. The only reason we ate there at all is cause we had a coupon. What a waste of money! I recommend no one eating there unless they want to get sick.

When I called Michelle at the front desk and told her our "horror story from 4 doors down" she arranged for us to ck in the next morning right after we ck'd out of the "Holiday END" They really understand what customer service is at the Sheraton and we were treated very well. Food was delicious. Room was beautiful and well cleaned. Pools were very nice and staff very friendly, personable, professional. We'd definately stay here again.
