Disappointed to the Max

Liked the location, a few of the staff were nice. That's about it for likes.
The dislikes: The room we booked had a stale smell, the table was
so off balance it was difficult to keep the drinks from spilling. There was
no light near the table so we had to keep the bathroom door open with the
light on while we ate. It was really pitiful. The sliding door was impaired and was so hard to open that I wrenched my back trying. There were no sodas in the machines on our floor and two other floors (we gave up after three floors), The machines also kept our money. However, the manage-ment gave us back the money we lost and sent up two sodas. One of the most gross things were the two elevators - they smelled so disgusting that I complained to the manager and he came up with a pathetic story that
they were just cleaned with a special metal cleaner and perhaps that was
what I was smelling! I hate to dwell on it, but the smell literally made me
gag. I called room service and also guest service and let the phone ring fifteen times before hanging up. When I was at the front desk another guest was there and asked the management if the phone was out of order. When told it wasn't, the guest was irate and said he had let the phone ring over twenty five times! Some of the staff were nice and some where very annoyed. The hotel appeared to be run down. Needless to say we were so disappointed. One other thing, the jet planes constantly flying overhead were very distracting noise wise. Also, we could not get any bars on our cell phone unless we left the hotel. Bummer
