Loved the improvements!
By Casey, 06/15/09
We stayed here in 2004 and though the vistas were wonderful, sunrise over the Massanutens and sunset over the Blue Ridge, the room had a lot to be desired. This year when we came back we were delighted to be in one of the Antique rooms near the pool. The room was neat and clean but the mattresses and linens need to be replaced soon. Staff was very pleasant and helpful when we needed them. The landscaping and flowers on the property were amazing! Every flower and color had been planned in the landscaping and they were utterly breathtaking! After the rain, a photographers dream! The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of blueberry muffins and other goodies on the menu! We'll definitely come back!

Older motel, unusual room, wonderful views
By DebbieT, 09/16/08
The room that we had was decorated in a conglomeration of chinese and japanese decor. Strange for a Days Inn. The view was wonderful though and the room was clean.

Would stay here again
By Kim Y, 09/15/08
We spent 3 days here and it was wonderful. The staff was just terrific. There were 2 weddings going on at the same time that we were here and the staff was really busy with them, but we had a small problem in our rooom and they were here in no time to fix the problem. They were very helpfull even with directions. The room was nice and clean. I would stay here again if we come back this way. The rates were very good also.

Great Day~
By Nikki, 03/11/08
We had our wedding in Luray on the first and were able to obtain a room with a hot tub for us and an adjoining room for our 11 and 6yo children. We were allowed to enjoy our honeymoon night and not trouble anyone with babysitting. We were to exhausted to take advantage of the hot tub that night but it was quite refreshing the next morning. Staff was great, helpful and VERY pleasant. Thanks so much! OH and the pillows and beds were EXTREMELY comfortable! MISSING THE PILLOWS!

convenient, but older
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
Good location, beautiful view, old building. The stay was good, with the exception of being able to have a conversation with our neighbors on either side without even raising our voices. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was continental (busier later). Hot tub was falling apart but worked. There was NOTHING to do in the city at night. Not sure if we will be staying there again.
