Wonderful Hotel

Just returned from a four night stay. The room was large, very clean and extremely quiet - the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. We had people next door, never heard them - nor was there any noise from above. We had an inner room over looking the interior courtyard, with a small balconey. Free internet access.
The staff was great, with the concierge lending us an umbrella since rain was in the forecast.
Location was perfect, right in the heart of Old Town - you can walk King Street or one of the local historical streets every night. Shuttle to the metro was only once every hour, but always timely. When returning, just give them a call - they were always there within 10 minutes.
One small thing to be aware of - the hotel has a dog "cocktail hour" every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Cute at first, but found it annoying the second night though my wife disagreed. The dogs were all on leashes...but the barking got on my nerves after awhile.
One other point - the parking garage under the building is tight - with very low ceilings. We had to remove the antenna on my Toyota Highlander since it was hitting some pipes! It also gets crowded during the day between daily visitors and those who use the lot to park but work nearby (although the sign states only for Holiday Inn guests).
Still, not enough to reduce the rating below a five. Would definitely go back.
