Clean Jacuzzi & Nice Location

I stayed at Ramada for 4 nights with my Partner. We took Jacuzzi Room, Jacuzzi was clean and beautiful. Hot and cold Breakfast was delicious. Front desk person was friendly. Hotel is located so well that all kind of shops and restaurants are nearby. We enjoyed shopping and dining, infact we enjoyed overall stay at Ramada.

not a good value

Strange location on the south end of downtown roanoke. Not very close to anything without driving in circles. the hotel is old and need remodeling yet the price doesn't reflect this. They ask about $15-$20 more than they should for this place. I recommend one of the hotels near the airport /mall for the same price, far greater value and location.

Never Again!!!!!!

This by far was the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in. When I returned to the front desk to ask for another room because of the disgusting stains and tear on the boxspring, I was told "The sheet are clean and we won't give you another room." My advise, find another hotel, oh, a real hotel. I rate it 0 stars.

HORRIBLE!!!

I went out to downtown in the evening and when I returned my bags had been gone through and money and medication was stolen. When I went to the manager all they had to say was "oh well". The place is extremely dirty as well. Stains from who knows what, were all over the floor of the 1st room and the 2nd was not much better. This is by far the worst experience I have eveer had and I am a very frequent traveler. If there were negative stars fro the review, that is what they would get.

Never again

The first room was absolutely awful. There was stuff running down the bathroom walls and all over the floor. The sink was very dirty. There were loose screws laying on the bed and earrings on the floor. The heater smelled like it was about to catch fire. I could not stay in that room so I asked for another. The second room was better until I got up in the middle of the night and saw a roach crawling on the bathroom floor. To top things off, I passed by a Drag Queen caring "it's blond wig" in it's hand. The only good thing was the front desk clerk Peter.

Really scary and dirty !

We checked in and when we saw the room we quickly checked out. The room was supposed to be non-smoking and the previous guests had smoked in room, alot! the beds were horrible, it was dirty and the guest that were there were really scary looking. I would not recommend this hotel at all! It is very run down and not clean at all. The service was good as they did not charge us and let us leave with no problems.

Wouldn't stay if it was free

Found this to be the worst place I ever stayed in. The carpets were shabby. The beds were old and uncomfortable. Tne outside noise level was unbearable. Found bugs in the room. This hotel should be shut down or completely remodled. As a result I will never stay in another Ramada Hotel. I should have known better. Ramadas used to be first class but not any more. Went the same direction as the convenience stores if you know what I mean.

unpleasant experience

checked in. we were given a different room type than the one we reserved. the place, the lifts looked run down and dirty. the room was less than appealling. found water bugs on the sheets(according to the front desk rep lots of people have complained but apparently theres nothing they can do about it!) my husband and i also saw cockroaches in the drawers. we will never go back there again. i would avoid this hotel at all costs!

We will never go back

This Hotel is not at all what is told on the internet or by phone, Some of the rooms have no running water, tubs uncleaned, no clocks/radio in any of the rooms, some of the rooms smell of mold and mildew, when ask for blankets & pillows there was no none, towels and wash cloths was anything but white.gum on top of the beds, dirty wash cloth covering the smoke detective. Lobby was lovely, it gave a fault impressing of the Inn. Said there was an indoor pool, there was not, no room service.We was told this was a 5 star, maybe when it was first builded but not any more.
