The Days Inn West Broad is located west of historic downtown Richmond, three miles from Crump Memorial Park, four miles from the Carpenter Center, and five miles from Agecroft Hall, Edgar Allen Poe Museum, and Maggie Walker House. There is an outdoor seasonal pool and an off-site fitness center to help you relax after a long day. The meeting room is available to handle your meeting needs for five to 90 attendees. Every morning, guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, while the manager's reception is every weekday evening. The inn also offers ice/vending machines, 24-hour front desk, free parking, free local calls, safety deposit, and limited room service. Pets are allowed at $20.00 per pet. Each room has air-conditioning, AM/FM clock radio, coffeemaker, dataport phone, voicemail, and cable television. Irons are available upon request. Non-smoking and handicapped-accessible rooms are available.

Terrible hotel

There were 2 bags of trash sitting in the hallway on our floor and it smelled dirty. The floor by the ice machine was so sticky that you could hear your feet making squishy sounds when you walked. We asked about internet and was told they had it. It turns out that side of the building gets it and one does not so we had to change rooms. The TV controller did not work and after trying 3 different ones and ended up just using TV buttons. The morning clerk was horribly rude to several of us at breakfast...we turned on a light to see better. We were supposed to stay a week but left after only one night. Terrible hotel!!!!

Old and Dirty

This hotel says they are in the process of renovating, but I didn't see any of that going on. I was grossed out by how dirty the place was. There was a sticky spot in the carpet on the floor like someone had spilled something...I hope anyway. The comforter was stained and dirty looking. The bathroom fan was loud and full of dirt and dust. I would not stay here again.

HOTEL NEEDS A LOT OF WORK ROOM 619 CURTAINS STAINED , AIR CONDITIONER NEEDS CLEANED, BATHROOM HAD MANY STAINS / MILDEW ON WALLS AND CEILINGS. HOTEL NEEDS TO BE UPDATED AND CLEANED

Friendly Staff...Clean Room

My fiance and I were only in Richmond for a night, but for our one night stay here it was nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. Our room was clean, as well as the rest of the hotel that I saw. I would recommend this hotel. The only thing I noticed that might be helpful, is that there was no sign at the corner of Broad and Dickens for the hotel. The sign for the hotel is on the top of the building, and eventhough the hotel isn't very far from the corner, you could easily pass it if you were'nt paying attention.

Awsome Stay

I travel all over and stayed here for three weeks, and can honestly say this is the best place I have stayed at in a while. The staff is the best. Their are all professionals here!. The best staff by far. The the GM will go out of his way to make your stay here the way you want it. Best place in Richmond.

Good price, everything else was terrible

I stayed here for 13 nights and the price was reflective of the quality. The service was very poor. Housekeeping kept forgetting things, like replacing coffee, towels, etc. Twice I told the front desk and nothing changed. The room was poor; television reception was had, curtains were too small to cover the windows, heavy, uncomfortable blanket and very loud plumbing and noise from neighboring units. The walls aren't insulated properly. The worse part was the shower, it takes about 5-7 minutes for the hot water to work and it still doesn't get very hot. Take my advice and stay somewhere else.

We came for the IRL race and stayed 2 nights. The staff was very friendly. I had reserved a non smoking room but upon arrival was told there were no non smoking rooms available. The beds were very hard. There were 4 of us, my husband, two children and myself and only 3 towels and 1 wash cloth. The next morning after the maid cleaned the room she only left 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. There was no coffee for the coffee pot and there was a half full bottle of water left in the fridge from whoever stayed before us. Next time we'll spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Needs work

This Days Inn lacked some simple basics: the fitted bottom sheets were too small for the mattress and popped off; cheap mattress pads bunched beneath the sheets; very worn blankets needed to be replaced; no furniture or even a simple luggage rack for suitcases; cleaning staff walked by the wet towels that some guest inexplicably dumped by the elevator.
