We will skip this hotel next trip!
First of all I feel this should rated a two star hotel instead of a three star hotel. Upon arrival at our room I noticed that the room was very dirty. There was mold in the shower, the air conditioner had mold growing in it, the carpet need cleaned and swept, and the room was in need of remodeling in general. The air conditioner was on high the entire two days of our stay but the temperature never got below 80 degrees in the room. The first night of our two night stay was very upsetting. There were kids (ages varied from about 7 to teenagers) running up and down the halls, screaming and slamming doors until well after midnight. We should have called the front desk, but my wife opted to yell at them around 12:30 AM and that seemed to put an end to the problem. The next morning we notified the manager and we were told we were not the only ones on that floor to complain (this did not surprise me at all.) The manager said the hotel's cerfew was 11 PM and if we had a problem the next night to call and security would be sent to the floor. My only question was that where was security the first evening? The second night was better, only screaming/running/slamming until 10 PM. Way too many problems even for a $98.00/night room. I would have paid $150.00/night not to have the problems we had and I will at another hotel the next trip to Williamsburg.
