You Get What You Pay For

While planning a quick weekend getaway I found this hotel online, the price was nice, and the pictures looked pleasing. However, upon arrival I found anything but! When we walked in there was nothing eye appealing, no plants, pictures, or decor....just the desk. Oh well we say it is the off season, right? WRONG. We walked to the elevator had to push the button twice to make it work...then had to push the floor button twice to once again make it work. We get off the elevator and the first few doors on the hall were laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, and staff only. When we finally got to the room you would push on the door and it would bend with one finger. After numerous attempts to open the door with the key the tragedy continued! You could feel and hear each spring in the mattress, the pipes above the shower had a steady drip, there was a brown puddle in the shower, and to top it off a very questionable stain on the shower curtain. After all of the above we went back to the lobby got our money back and went up the strip to another hotel. Save yourself the toil and spend an extra $15-$20 a night and get a higher quality hotel.
