A little pricey, but we've still been twice.

This Inn is great! We went for our honeymoon and again this year for our 3 year anniversary.
The first time we stayed in a great 2 room suite; the nicest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel, a big closet (not the greatest view but a very quiet room). This time we stayed in a corner room, very nice and again very quiet.
The food in the Inn is fabulous! I would give the food 5 stars hands down. We never ate in the dining room (you need to dress for dinner, the first time we didn't have appropriate attire, and the second time we had a 4 month old), but we did eat at the tavern. The food is the same regardless of where you eat it, so we tend to get room service alot. Nothing like filet mignon in your pajamas!
The service is great, the people are very friendly, knowlegable, and helpful.
I gave location only 4 stars, because Woodstock is a very cute little town, but short of shopping, we didn't find a ton of other summer activities. For people like us it is great because we just like to relax and maybe walk around a little.
I gave value only 3 stars because it is expensive and I'm not sure it is worth the high prices. It is definately worth more than your average hotel, just maybe not as much as they charge. Once at the Inn the prices are reasonable. If cost is not a factor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Inn.
My one complaint is that it isn't really kid friendly. It isn't kid unfriendly, but the fact that kids aren't welcome in some places doesn't promote a real family atmosphere. But if you aren't looking for family time in the Inn, there is nothing else I would change.
Overall, I love this Inn, and we plan to go back again every couple of years.
