Village Country Inn, Manchester

We have stayed here many, many times-usually with good results, Unfortunately, the last several years the Inn had deteriorated and it is now closed. We now stay next door at the INN at MANCHESTER which is very very clean, staff is friendly and the innkeepers-Frank & Julie, are now considered friends. We have stayed there 4 times & will continue to do so!!!!

The Village Country Inn is our very favorite place to go for a romantic week end getaway. My husband and I got engaged there 14 years ago and have gone back every year since and have never been disappointed. I guess it depends on what you are looking for, I read some reviews and I will say we go for a romantic week end. We like the tv to watch the news at night, but thats about it, yes its small but I dont' think the object of this inn is to go there to watch much tv. The rooms are beautiful one more so than the next, impeccably clean,the staff are wonderful, the restaurant is amazing the gardens just beautiful...you really need to see for yourself. I will not spoil their special thoughts when they know its a special occasion for you, but there are so many wonderful touches that make this inn stand out. We will continue to visit for many years to come and thank Ann and Jay for their wonderful hospitality we have enjoyed every year we have been there.

There is nothing that can be said about this inn that would not be a rave...I have stayed in many inn's but this one in in my heart...From the staff to the owners, who become personal friends. If you need and deserve the best go the VCI and have the time of your life..
