Pines Motel, Stowe

I loved the fact that both chain locks for the adjoining rooms were filed away so when we were the only tenants for the evening we got four beds for the price of one. Ask for the room with the fireplace and you can get this great deal.

seemingly innocent from the outside, once you step in to your pines motel room... it will take your breath away. there was a mixture of odd odors, dog hair on the furniture, [several] bars of used soap in the shower, no garbage can, bulb-less lamp, twin comforter used as a curtain (not available in single rooms), and overall lacked in cleanliness. over the phone, the staff was very friendly. there is room for improvement at the pines motel. fireplace was functional.

though moderately priced, very, very dingy. heater did not work well. bathroom was gross. smoky musty smell. last resort for sure. nicer anywhere. cant stress enough that you will not feel comfortable here.kind of a you dont want to touch anything charm to the room.

this charming place is a great place for the skier that wants a dry bed..warm room and quiet! for the money, you can't beat it..if you want fancy forget it..but it does what it needs to do. I want to be on the slopes or at a restaurant..in the town or in the local pubs..the last place i care about is my lodging..as long as it is as i said..dry and warm..and quiet..even in the summer..i plan to use this lodging..I am not fancy and it isn't..so, perfect fit!
