First time at Jay

I went to jay with a group of friends that had been going for the past 4 years. We stayed at one of the slope-side condos and i have never had better or more convinient lodging. The terrain at Jay was better than any other i have ever skied. We had powder every day i was there with at least 3 inches a day. The glades are amazing and the freedom to go out of bounds to find fesh tracks makes it feal more like Jackson's Hole than an eastern ski resort. Fav. trails were deliverance, the face, timbuktu, everglade, and the staircase. Only down side was the fact that it was so far up north. This made for a long drive and caused it to be the coldest mountain i have been to (you'll be thankful for the cold when your working in the glades). The wind can be strong and makes it sheer ice on the exposed runs (top of the Red Chair). But besides that it was an awesome experience.
