it worked
By ,
The Hotel was generic. Nothing unique or memorable. At the time the front desk was "under construction" which made for some inconvienence. The most inconvient was the key cards. Which had a one time use limit, and made it frustrating to have to keep getting a new one. It was a business trip, and sharing a room, and after several tries I was able to get the "right" staff person to issue a key card that worked more than once for the door. My roommate was also frustrated at repeatedly having to get a key card from the desk.. especially after the hot tub early in the morning in a swim suit.. most inconvient. The "facility" was nice. Though outside of the room, there was no quite relaxing space. A conference oriented hotel, was busy with noise, and traveling "salesfolks". In btween conventions.. the hot tub area was empty... and a moment of quite relax was found.

i like hilton hotel coz its accessibility is great which is right there w/in downtown. My dislike is that dishonesty of thier utility staff. i forgot my expensive shoes & boots in the room. but no one have a heart of honesty to return or report my stuff. this is too humiliating. sorry for this. this is how i feel, i feel so bad.

Perfect downtown getaway
By ,
What a value! The room was great- had a spectacular view of the city, the pool was clean (and so were the changing rooms), the price was unbelievably low!

I WILL go back!
By ,
This place is truly a home away from home. It's proximity to everything in the city makes for a very effective location. The entire facility is spotless and super high class. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are more comfortable than my bed at home. A professional staff, a very well equiped workout room, and delicious food make this place a must for the overnighter or especially the person or persons who get to stay for a while. I was very impressed and highly reccomend it to anybody! You will enjoy your stay.

Dishonest staff. Look elsewhere in Salt Lake City
By ,
I have to agree with another reviewer about the dishonest staff. Four of us stayed there for a conference last week. My Supervisor checked out the day before I did. He called me after he had checked out to inform me that he had left his sunglasses on his bed in the room and asked that i retrieve them. I immediately went to the front desk, who then called Hotel Security that handles "lost and found". They told me that the glasses were likely still with housekeeping and that they would get back to me shortly. I went back to my conference and upon my return that evening noticed that there was no message left for me on my room telephone. The next day, I went down to the Front Desk (as I was checking out) and asked again about the glasses and was told to "pick up one of the silver phones in the lobby and talk to Security". I did and informed the person on the other end that I had not heard back from them and that I was leaving in 5 minutes. The gentleman took my cell number and promised to get back to me before I left. HA! It has now been 5 dyas and still NO CALL from the hotel. Also, on my 2nd day at the Hotel I noticed that both of the coffee cups that were left in my room by Housekeeping were dirty. One had a hair in it, the other had lipstick on it. No big deal, I stopped by the Front Desk that night on my way back to my room and they radioed for someone to come to the Front Desk and get me a clean cup. Well, the gentleman that came to escort me to the Housekeeping closet to get the cup felt compelled to tell me how busy he was because there was an inspection coming up in the morning and he was very busy...like I was bothering him. Well, at least he got me the cup..but wait, you guessed it, it had lipstick on it too! If you're planing on staying in Salt Lake I would reccomend the Marriott. It's a bit closer to the Convention Center, Temple Square, the free trolley and the rooms are nicer for just a few dollars more.

Nice place, but don't let the price fool you
By ,
It is the Hilton, so there rooms are nice, and everything is premium. The rooms are nice, not particularly large, but they are nice and they are clean. However, there are extras which are standard at many places but cost extra at this hotel. Internet is $10 per day, parking is $13 per day. Location is good. Staff is friendly. The pool, hot tub, and fitness center are all very nice. The restaurants downstairs are nice - one just for breakfast, one just for dinner, (both are pricey), so there's nothing to eat during the day (there are several restaurants nearby).

Luxury in a nutshell!
By ,
We stayed at the Hilton after a friends wedding. I can't even explain how comforatable the rooms were and how friendly the service staff was. In the past at hotels, I do not sleep well at night and wake up with a stiff back. The feather beds, and down comfortors and down pillows made me not want to check out! The staff was very friendly. We forgot some items in our car with valet, and they were friendly enough to bring it right up! As for location, it couldn't get any better! We were in the center of downtown and able to walk to night clubs and back to our hotel. I don't think I can stay anywhere else because it will not compare!

One of the nicest hotels in SLC
By ,
I've always like the Hilton chain and was not disappointed in my recent visit to the SLC Center Hilton. The room was quiet and beautifully decorated; the staff very helpful in our questions about local places of interest. Location is right downtown, within walking distance of some good restaurants and not too far from Temple Square.

Go Elsewhere
By ,
I usually like Hiltons, but not this one. The room was average at best, the bathroom was not well kept. The location was decent, right next to many restaurants. The pool was below average and they do not have free internet. You can go elsewhere and do much better.
