Best Valentines Day Ever!

We made reservations for next year when we left the hotel. After what can only be described as a perfect stay. The staff was caring and attentive. Every detail was thought of. We checked in at 3:30pm. Right away we felt like we were VIP’s. The front desk staff greeted us warmly. We were informed we were complimentary upgraded to a whirlpool room. After we settled into that beautiful room with a huge whirlpool tub and two nice thick plush bathrobes in an alcove with a flat panel TV above, I almost had my husband convinced we could just order room service and stay in the room. We went back down to the lobby and were immediately asked if everything was alright with the room. I told the front desk attendant “sadly my husband thought that food was needed”. Not thinking ahead we had not made plans and asked if they had any suggestions for someplace close. We were asked if they needed to make reservations for us in the Great American Grill, the hotels restaurant for dinner or if we wanted to see what kind of a wait time was to be had at any of the places around the hotel. I was impressed that they would take the time to call around to several restaurants to see what was available. When we were told reputedly the wait without a reservation was going to be 45 minutes to an hour I convinced my husband to stay at the hotel. We were not disappointed. The food and service were very good and well above average for a hotel restaurant. I have to tell everyone that will listen about our wonderful Valentines Day stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Polaris. This was one of our best hotel stays we ever had.
