AWESOME STAY
By Tonya, 8/19/12
We loved everything about it, the service was great, the staff was great, the rooms were, very clean, and comfortable, was as close to being at home in your own house as can be, being away from home! Our company, TMS, put all of the workers up in this Residence Inn, we were there about 2 months, was as pleasant of a stay as ive ever been, we have no complaints at all about it, except that we had to go home when the job ended! The breakfast was delicious everyday, the evening meals were great, the laundry room is very spacious and CLEAN, great washers and dryers, the front desk staff, was more than friendly to all of us... I can't wait for our next stay there, was great!! Its in a perfect place, any direction you go, there is great shopping, the beachs are only minutes away, I can't find any problems with this residence inn!! Loved it!!!!!

Never again
By que, 2/3/11
The hotel was hell. The first problem was checking in. We were in CT for the holidays and decided to stay here, We are a member with Marriott so i expected great service and a clean room. I recieved the opposite. I booked my stay with 1-800 marriott and i asked about their pet policy, they told me a one time payment of something around $100, fine. I show up to check in and they tell me it's that plus a $250 security fee. We called marriott and they said it sounded fishy and they called the Milford hotel to clearify everything for me. The woman at the front desk lied and said there was nothing extra but once again, once she was off the telephone she tried to charge and showed us a copy of a pet policy that was seperate from the 'regular policy'. So i decided to put my pet with family instead of being charged TWO security fees. Everything was fine from that moment until the snow storms began rolling into Connecticut full force. We came in with an 18 wheeler. It wasn't the first time because we've stayed there before in the cul de sac at Springhill suites. Unfortunately Springhill has a zero tolerance pet policy so we settled for Residence Inn. So, we're in the room watching television and my fiance went to open the bedroom curtains and saw a man STANDING on our truck trying to peer inside the sleeping cab! We call downstairs to see what's going on and the rude woman at the front desk tells me i have to move my truck so the plows can store their sand where the truck is parked. There is a full house and the snow is coming down with a vengence. There is nowhere to else to park or to fit. We head downstairs to figure out what exactly we're supposed to do. The snow plow guy comes in the lobby and he says we have to move or be towed out. The staff sided with him instead of trying to help their customer. There are two women at the front desk by now. One who checked us in the previous day and one whom my fiance spoke with over the phone to verify parking arrangements. She asked the employee if she remembered speaking to her and the employee just stood there and told us she never told us we could park anywhere. That's when the snow plow guy says "and your trailer is in a fire lane" Once again he's pulling out his cell phone threatening to call the city to have us towed and nobody did a thing to side with the customer and the woman who told us we were ok to park there thought it more important to save herself from being written up or fired or whetever because she was telling us the same thing and giving us the worst attitude i have ever experienced at a hotel. We felt threathened and disrespected. We decied to leave and check out right away taking names and business cards with us. I was very upset and disappointed. I called customer care and they took down the incident and contacted management at Residence Inn in Milford Ct. The operator told us when to expect a phone call from the hotel manager named Mike. The day came and nobody called so we called customer care and told them we haven't recieved a call from management yet. Low and behold, they checked in the system to see why no one from Residence Inn called yet. Somone from the hotel marked in the system fraudulently that they already gave us an "apology call" The operator was very concerened and nice and professional; at least somebody was. She sent a message for them to call me right away and the same exact woman with the dismissive and belittling attitude called back, NOT APOLOGIZING but asking ME what I wanted to SAY! It was upsetting and off putting. Never stay there unless you don't mind being spoken to like a dog and being treated as if your service doesn't matter.

Excellent service clean and friendly.
By Pat, 11/20/05
This hotel has excellent service, is clean and friendly. The rooms are large and climate controlled. There is a kitchen that is equiped with any tool you would need for standard meal preparation. In addition, this location includes a hot breakfast and light dinner (Mon.-Fri., included in the price of a room. It is the best choice in Milford.
