No room service. No attractions. Doors allow so much noise through (you'd think you left it open). Cleaning staff starts to bang on doors at 9am. Non-stop weddings through summer, so plan on rowdy, drunken crowds at all hours.

Having been only twice, I absolutely love this place. It's far enough that I feel like I've really been away and close enough that I don't have to rest when I get home. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the views are lovely. There's nothing like sitting on the balcony on a warm summer night enjoying the salty breeze and watching the comings and goings of the many water fowl below. My kids and I took a brief vacation there last year and enjoyed ourselves so much, we went again this summer. We spent the day at the Water Park (which is great also) across the street. There are several restaurants nearby and North Beach is just a short drive up the road. And for those with a sweet tooth, like myself, there's a traditional 50s-era ice cream parlor across from the hotel called Scoops. Or, go with soft-serve down the road at Tastee-Freeze. Decisions, decisions! The hotel has several special packages to choose from. In fact, I plan to spend a few days there this fall and winter. Whether you're married or single, it's definitely worth checking out.

I disliked that the rooms did not offer mini bars nor did the hotel have room service. A good staff is hard to find and the front desk staffer named Heather made us feel welcome and went above and beyond. They should give this girl a raise!
