My husband and I went here a year ago right before we flew to Rome for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Hilton in Rome and other nice places but we kept talking about the C’mon Inn and how we couldn't wait to go back someday. We just had our one year anniversary and spent it at the Missoula C'mon Inn and it was perfect. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite because the price was so reasonable and we never wanted to leave. We have both read the other reviews and are shocked to hear anything negative at all. The customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. In a world where the service industry seems to be devolving in quality the C’mon Inn is like a trip back into time when people treated you with respect and were genuinely happy to have you be a customer. The atmosphere at the C'mon Inn was so relaxed that it made even the other patrons there happy. It has both a fun and relaxed atmosphere where families and couples alike will feel the welcoming warmth of times gone past.
The room was clean, attractive and comfortable. Our room was quiet but I don't think having a room off the pool areas would be quiet. We liked the room, including the bathroom, but in comparing it to other places we've stayed, I think it was overpriced at $149. The complimentary breakfast was all carbohydrates so we skipped that.
I have stayed a number of times at this hotel visiting family in Missoula. It has always been satisfactory, sometime even nice. Last week, when I stayed I was shocked to find a charge for an extra $100 on my credit card bill. When I called for an explanation, I was told that the hotel had determined that we were smoking in the room and therefore charged this extra cleaning fee. I do NOT smoke, never have. When I explained this to the hotel, they said they were "sorry" but continued to apply the charge. Watch it! We didn't smoke and they don't care!!
Wonderful staff, beautiful facility, a courtyard full of hot tubs and "lodge decor". HUGE Plasma TV in our room. We were just passing through and expected such a big beautiful place to be $$$, but it was quite reasonable for the hotels in the area. This is a must stay if you are in Missoula.
I made a reservation and was provided a confirmation number. When we arrived and attempted to check in, I was told they had no reservation under my name. I gave them my confirmation number and was told they still had no reservation. The staff was able to get me into an available room, however we did not get the bedding arrangement or room style I had originally booked. This was especially inconvenient since I had both of my children with me.
We checked in at about 3pm. From the very moment we got into our room and continually until past 11pm, there were numerous children running up and down all of the hallways, banging on the doors, yelling and being very disruptive. There were a large number of unsupervised children, as we later found out there was a large group of school kids staying at the hotel. This behavior of the kids was continual and on all three floors of the hotel, which affected other guest. I stepped into the hallway several times and asked them to quit, however it persisted. Not once did I see a hotel staff member try to fix this problem. Needless to say, we got to sleep at about midnight. In addition, my wife and I frequently base our stays on the hotel having a pool / jacuzzi. We attempted to use the jacuzzi several times, but every one of them was packed with kids being disruptive and infants. The posted hotel rules prohibit infants in the jacuzzi, however this was clearly not enforced. Due to this, we were unable to enjoy the jacuzzi or pool. We did not see any parental supervision and it looked like the parents / chaperones just let the kids run around rather than provide supervision, be responsible and have some respect for other guest.
The following morning, I spoke with the front desk staff and expressed my dissatisfaction. I was told that there was a school group there and that the hotel as aware of the problem. They told me they spoke with the parents several times, but the parents didnt fix the problem. They said they also tried to call several of the rooms to contact parents, but received no answer. They said they even had extra staff on to try and reduce the problem. I told them I wished they had informed us of the large school group when we checked in, in which case I would have booked at another location. This would have been the courteous thing to do, especially since it was a very large number of kids. The appropriate thing to do would have been for the hotel staff to ask the disruptive guest to leave rather than let other guest be effected by this, especially since they were aware of the problem and got no cooperation from them in resolving it. I know several other guests were bothered by this as several of them commented about the same problems we experienced as we were standing in the check out line. It was very inconsiderate to other guest and unprofessional to allow the group to stay, especially since the hotel was aware of the problem and did not get any cooperation from the parents in correcting it.
This has to be one of the best places I've ever stayed. The indoors decks, decor & staff were all fantistic. If you are in the mood for nice country vibe that is clean & inviting I believe this is the place. My stay lasted 3 months due to working in the area & it was like a home away from home for me. The cost was nice too.
We were treated like royalty at this hotel. We've stayed there 4 times, and we plan to return again soon. The rooms were very clean, the pool and hot tubs were well maintained, the food was excellent. It's a great value for the money.
