Rodeway Inn Lee, Lee

This place was a dive! If you want privacy, this isn't the place for you. I felt like I was being watched. The staff was rude. The setting was noisy. The room stunk. The breakfast was extremely limited and located in a cubby hole where the staff sat. I wouldn't stay here again in a million years!

The woman at the front desk was pleasant enough, she tried to tell us that this was the only room available.hmmmmm. The beds were HARD,pillows flat....it was clean enough other than the ants in the bathroom and tables.(lots)forget the continentel breakfast (joke) and no, I would NOT stay there again

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. We needed a room near Stockbridge for the Art Fair. The Room (#2) was poorly maintained. Smoke alarm had been disconnected and the battery was hanging by a thread. Cover missing from wall outlet. Disgusting and worn carpet had exposed carpet tack strip at the threshold -- which I stepped upon in bare feet. Very dangerous. Cable TV was reported out the first night; manager made an attempt to fix and then called cable company (which was admirable). However, cable company rep was walking in and out of our room until 10:30 PM (that's right -- 10:30 PM when we would like to have been sleeping). The notices that generally are posted in each room about check-in and check-out plus the rack rate were no where to be found. Can't believe we had to pay $176/night for this room! Had I any options to find alternate lodging on a busy Berkshire weekend, I would have left immediately -- although we still would have been charged for both nights since they have a 3-week cancellation policy. Basically we had no options, but we will never be back.
