Comfort Inn & Suites, San Antonio

My family and I stayed at this hotel July 15 � July 17th 2006. When we returned from a day at Seaworld our room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and they stated we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door and the cleaning crew was gone for the day. WE DID NOT HAVE A SIGN ON OUR DOOR. We noticed later that our laptop and my daughter�s game boy were missing. We alerted Management and were told to �JUST CALL THE POLICE� no concern for us at all. I called the police and made a report. While in the lobby I noticed another lady with her family who was also filling out a theft report. After speaking with her she informed me that she had also been robbed on the same day and her driver�s license, $300.00 cash, credit cards and digital camera were stolen. She was also told to �JUST CALL THE POLICE� and Management showed no concern. This person missed her airline flight due to not having her license. I had the manger to pull a report to see which room cards had been used in our door and it showed that we left at 8:35, returned at 9:10 pm and at 3:45 pm one of her employees entered our room and remember they did not clean it so what were they doing in our room? Stealing! Also that person did not show up for work on the next day July 17th. To end this horrible experience On Tuesday July 18th @ 8:15 am I received a call from the unconcerned Manager and was told the employee had returned my items when the police got involved. A big thanks to the San Antonio Police Department! The Hotel mailed my belongings back to me with no apology letter and did not even compensate me for my room and inconvenience. I will never stay her again. This matter could have been handled with more care and concern from the Management and Comfort Inn as a company. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

The hotel was one of few that actually had a room available to us in the middle of the night. There was a mini fridge in both rooms we stayed in, as well as a microwave and comfortable beds. There was a business center with internet which was useful many times during the trip. The pool was clean as well and they served free breakfast. The location is great, right off the highway and by a few atm's. If you rather stay in, there is an extensive room service menu.
