Stoney Creek Inn Columbia, Columbia

We were upgraded to a suite because the room we had booked had a problem. We loved it. The kids had lots of space to move around and we really liked the indoor/outdoor pool...especially when it was raining! Breakfast area was a bit crowded but they kept up with the food. We're coming again as our son is now attending Mizzou...right down the road.

This is the way all hotels should be. CLEAN,CLEAN, CLEAN.Friendly.It's a few minutes to U. of Missouri but not so close to I-70. (Ten minutes).

We love this place. It is clean and well managed. Whenever we have a choice we pick a Stoney Creek Lodge. The decor is a "Wildreness Theme" which we love. They have a indoor and outdoor pool which we took advantage of and was great. Their contential breakfast is another perk of the place. We like the place so much we scheduled a summer conference there in 2006 and all of our guest raved about the place.

We had a wrestling team stay with you. You generously allowed us to have a carb dinner and use your facility to do so. We also were very very impressed with the pool for the kids. Thank you!!

My husband and I love the Stony Creek Inn! We have been there twice, and have gotten a themed suite both times. It was very luxurious, and we loved the hot tub in the room. The rooms are large and very comfortable. I can't wait to go back. Made for a very romantic weekend.

Fire alarm was pulled in the middle of the night. Then, it continued to go off several other times. Very disconcerting. The management did not offer any type of reimbursement.

For the second year in a row, I attended the APSE conference held here. The decor is charming, the pool, hot-tub & sauna very inviting, and the continental breakfast was generous. Our three day stay was wonderful! I would make the trip just to spend a weekend here. Oh yeah, the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on. Can you say Vellux?

Whole atmosphere is unique with "bear and outdoor woods like theme". Rooms are unique with same theme and very clean and roomy. The warm indoor / outdoor pool had rule enforced no children from ten to eleven at night so it was nice to swim alone with your husband with no children there. The whirlpool has fireplace by it and a television for your viewing. Nice pool area with sauna. Stoney Creek Inn has rooms available with fireplaces in room and whirlpools. There are fireplaces in greeting areas. This is a very unique place to visit to get away from it all in an outdoorsy type setting. The only thing I did not like about this place is that you could not get a mixed drink or beer and the bar is only open certain hours of the day/night thus the low rating on amenities and service. When traveling I like to have access to a drink while sitting by a pool. So bring your own booze if you want a drink before bar opens. Relax and enjoy your large queen/king size bed and unique room.

Definitely the place to stay in Columbia. I wished I had more time to enjoy the pool & hot tub. Nice place, good value, friendly people. I'll be back soon.

The rooms were clean, roomy, and decorative. Wonderful atmosphere and they had a helpful staff. Beautiful pool and whirlpool!
