Great low-cost, efficient travel motel
By LindaC, 05/02/06
After the Central Coast Wineries, this was the perfect distnce south, and it worked out great. The room was totally clean, 100% functional , reservations went well, very early coffee (maybe next time, tea!!) no complaints!!!!

It was okay
By Marty, 03/03/06
I planned this trip knowing I would not be spending a lot of time in the room, so the price was my main goal. Even going for a cheap price, there were cobwebs in the bathroom and the lady who checked me in when I arrived was very slow and did not seem to have a firm grasp of what she was doing. She was easily distracted and did not appreciate the fact that I had been on a plane for several hours with an hour drive after that, leaving me in her lobby at 2 am my time. We left a phone charger in the hotel room and they were not willing to help make arrangements to ship it to us, even when I offered to pay the freight. It was not worth the hassle. There was a light outside our window and flickered all night long, despite the report on the first night, it was still not fixed the second night. The location was great, very central to a lot of activities, but the staff did not perform up to par.

We won't be going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/05
This hotel wasn't what we expected. Expecting a good deal... we got rooms that were dirty, wiped room down with clorox wipes, black dirt everywhere, beds were dirty-hair on pillows, dirt in bed, stale smoke smell, non working refrig/micro, non working heater, 4 yr olds balloon taken out of room and popped by staff, quoted one price paid a higher price, was told we were getting a newly remodeled 3 bed suite never used, got a 2 bed adjoing rooms, laundry room on same wall very loud early in the morning, staff very unprofessional, would have left but paid in full at check in. The location is close to the Outlet stores, In and Out and Theaters. Look elsewhere if you need to stay in Camarillo. Compareable priced hotels in the area would probably be much nicer and professional
