The Good Nite Inn in Sylmar was probably the worst room we have ever stayed in. The carpet was filthy and had holes in it. The furnishings were old and damaged, and the exposed box spring matresses looked old and were stained also. We had a room away from the freeway but neighbors were loud and disruptive. The bathroom door had a hole in it and wobbled when you opened it and the sink was cracked and stained. A Kleenex was not to be found! However the shower worked and we eventually slept, but got out as early as we could the next morning. Good thing it was just a place to sleep for the night on the way to northern California! I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially for $60 a night!!
