Loved it so much-We bought a House!
By Mom from TX, 09/30/09
I have never seen any place like PB. It's unlike anything I've seen before. Once we arrived, I knew this was the place I wanted to bring my family back to over and over again. Just to be sure we made 4 more trips before finally purchasing a home there. I've heard that the Inn is really the bait for the real estate sales - if that's the case, then I'm totally hooked!

South Carolina Low Country Heaven
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/28/08
This resort is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. I had to prolong my visit because there was so much to do and the amentities were so incredible. Everyone should visit and see this part of America. The staff was better than I have ever seen. The rooms remarkable. 5 Star

As good as it gets!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/08
The angel is in the details. My wife said it looked like a set from a Pottery Barn catalog. Trust me - that's good. The mini-fridge is a Sub-zero. The coffee maker utilizes pods. Every light switch has a dimmer. Every fabric your skin touches is exquisite. The bath room is almost as big as some hotel rooms I've stayed in. At 1130 sq. ft. for the SMALL cottage, it's enormous. The bath gel, shampoo and conditioner are in 16 oz. aluminum cylinders. You won't find a second class ANYTHING here. If you like perfection do not miss this place - it will become the standard you judge all others against. Oh, and it's quiet enough to hear the frogs!

Can't wait to go back!
By Tim S., 01/27/06
This was without a doubt one of the nicest resorts we've ever visited, perhaps THE best. We were there in late June, 2005 for four nights, five days. The weather was rainy most of the time, but that was okay. Our room was beautiful and the back porch overlooked the river and was comfortably furnished. I spent two whole days there just reading and watching the rain fall. The room was amazing, very comfortable. We had a wonderful claw-foot tub where my wife enjoyed long, relaxing baths. The steam shower is something I really enjoyed. We had a couple of treatments in the spa, which was also amazing. Service was impeccable in all areas. The food was very good, although room service was inconsistent. I think it's hard to be consistent when the kitchen is so far from the rooms. But overall was very good. The location was very convenient, just north of the Georgia/SC border, near Hilton Head. It was quiet and romantic and we can't wait to go back.

exceeded even MY expectations - - and that's not easy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/05
The Village, with it's gas lights and excedingly lovely village houses exceeded all expectations! The brochure does not do this very special place justice. One needs to have a 360 degree experience to truly appreciate this resort. We travel extensively and have stayed at well known and established luxury properties worldwide and I must say that there is nothing that I know of that compares to the aesthetic that exists at Palmetto Bluff.
