The second best hotel in Cyprus
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/31/07
I leave at Nicosia, Cyprus, and i enjoy going to this fabilus hotel just to sea it and have a cup of coffee. Every year on February i stay there because there is a special offer for cypriots. This weekend i will stay there and i can not wait!!!!!!! Most of all i like the decoration of the hotel. It looks like a middle age castle, there are beautiful drawings on the walls and you expect that a knight will come out of the elevator!!!!!! Also you must not miss breakfast (i thing that is one of the most important things in a hotel). The first time i stayed at Elysium i was surprised by the variety of the food on breakfast (i could say that it wasnt a breakfast but a lunch). I thing that if you are planning to come in Cyprus you HAVE TO VISIT ELYSIUM. You will love it. By the way i didnt find anything to deslike expept from the prices on Summer. I LOVE CYPRUS p.s. sorry for my english

Will return time and time again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/06
Fantastic hotel. Such lovely staff. Efficient, polite, can never do enough for you. Food is great. Rooms are so spacious, fabulous views from all sides. My friends and I return to Paphos each year and we are returning to the Elysium for the 3rd time now. It's so luxurious. Wouldn't book anywhere else. In fact, we are booked to go back this month, June 2006. Great location. A nice stroll to the Harbour during the day and a short taxi ride in the evening. So many restaurants and supermarkets within a few minutes walk from the hotel. It's fantastic.

The Elysium experience !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/6/06
My wife and I visited Cyprus in November and selected The Elysium because of it`s high reputation . We were definitely not disappointed . This hotel has everything......It`s perfectly clean [as you would expect from a hotel of this standard] the restaurants serve wonderfully fresh food , a good variety which caters for all tastes , and has excellent fascilities . The staff , from the doorman to the management team , treat visitors very well and are very warm and polite without being over friendly or disingenuine. I coudln`t fault any aspect of the Elysium experience and would recommend it to anyone wishing a pampered ,relaxed atmosphere .

Sheer luxury
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/12/06
We arrived here on Sunday evening to be greeted a friendly porter called Sam. Check in was very quick and we received a welcome drink as we waited for our luggage to be brought to our room. The lobby was very big and decorated and furnished to the highest standard. We were then taken to our room and there was a welcome message on the TV. The room overlooked the main pool and also had a sea view (this is definitely worth paying the extra supplement). The room was very spacious and the bathroom well equipped with “Molton Brown” toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. There was a safe that was free. The turn down service was excellent and sweets were left on your bedside table. There was also a choice of pillows from very soft to firm. At breakfast there was an extensive menu, which ranged from smoked salmon to boiled eggs and cornflakes. There were freshly cooked omelettes, crepes and waffles plus there was the full fry up if you so wished. Freshly squeezed juices, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats, fresh fruit. The list is endless and the quality was superb. There are five swimming pools and loads of sun beds. There is an evening entertainment programme to cater for all tastes. There is an Internet cafe for residents. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and speak very good English. All in all this was an exceptional holiday in a magnificent hotel and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
