Good Nite Inn Rohnert Park - Sonoma State- Napa Wine Country, Rohnert Park

What can you expect when you pay $40 for a night. We were with a group and when we arrived to our room. It was Smokey and this was a non smoking room. The smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling, the phone did not work, nor did the lamp. They did not seem to concerned with the smoke detector being ripped out. Funny, how they can rent a room that way. We complained and they switched us to another room. There was not a blow dryer in the room; you had to check one out. Which was interesting because at night the office was locked up and they had to give it through a window. Makes one wonder how safe this place is. I have contacted the city about fire regulations because I am sure this room will be rented again. This place is a dive. The outside had cigarettes all over the place. I would pay the additional money to feel safe. Drunks sleeping outside also.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty. Noisy. Rude reception. I won't be back. Cheap in all the negative ways. Maybe they just gave me a bad room, but I think they are all like this. Room 133.

From check-in to departure, we were very pleased with our night's stay. The grounds were immaculate. The desk clerk was delightful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and comfortable. The location next to Highway 101 was very convenient, but with that convenience does come expected road noise. This did not affect our comfort or ability to get a good night's rest, however. A disruption by a couple of "young adults" during the night was quickly handled by the management. I would not hesitate to stay in this establishment again when passing through this area.

The hotel room did not have lotion or conditioner. No iron in the room. Lots of flys waling up the stairs. Clean though.

I read the reviews after I booked Good Nite Inn and was expecting an unpleasant stay. Checked in desk help was very friendly and nice. This property appears to have been freshened up recently and new beds were being delivered as I checked in. Room was pleasant with a comfortable queen bed. I was in room 217, which faced the swimming pool. I imagine rooms facing freeway would be noisy. Some rooms facing the pool are 117, 317, 209, 211 the property has 3 floors and rooms are marked accordingly. The swimming pool was nicely maintained. I picked this hotel for the reasonable rate and in my case it was a very good value. Lots of fast food places are very close. Taco Bell, Burger King and Fresh Choice are all quicker to walk too than drive. The property has a wireless internet connection which worked very well. DonPato Pato Enterprises

THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! THE TOILET OVER FLOWED AND WE HAD TO TAKE CARE OF IT OURSELVES. WE HAD NO HOT WATER FOR ALL FOUR NIGHTS THAT WE WERE THERE. THEY SAY THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, BUT THIS PLACE WASN'T WORTH TEN CENTS!

Property in poor repair. Room smelled bad. A/C unit noisy and did not work well. Ice maker was not working. Noisy / thin walls.
