We won't be back!

Was very excited to be going to New Hampshire, our first family vacation in quite some time. Found this location online,called and booked 4day/3night reservation. Arrived and checked into cottage #8, cute, clean, shower a little small, awkward to get into, as it faced the door. Directly on rte 16, but many of the hotels/inns are. Nice gardening. A little disappointed the heated pool was not heated, something broken. We slept well 1st night, had nice breakfast inside the inn, and set off for a day of exploration in the White Mountains. Arrived back to our cottage around 2:30pm, only to find all of our things gone, and the owners came out and told us we were only booked for one night. Having emptied our room, they obviously knew there had been a mistake, but were not really prepared with any solutions. Not very helpful, never accepted any responsibility, or possiblility that this could be their fault, certainly no apology. At one point the owner actually said that all they wanted was our money, not exactly the best customer service. $170 bucks for one night. We moved across the street to the Red Jacket Mountain View, had a wonderful experience, bigger room, indoor/outdoor pool, playground, activities for kids, and not much more cost ($185). Definitely won't be back.
