Blue Beach Hotel, Playa del Carmen

The Blue Beach Hotel is the perfect accomidations for anyone, young or old! It is located right on the white sand beach of Playa del Carmen near the Blue Parrot. The rooms are large and very clean, there is a TV, AC, a ceiling fan, a fridge, lots of windows, and a HUGE shower. It is only two blocks down from 5th avenue (the main hub of Playa)and walking distance to just about anywhere you'd like. The best part about this hotel is that there are plenty of lounge chairs right in front of the beachfront rooms to lie around on and there is a beach bar 1 building down where you can get any cool refreshment imaginable! Our room (beachfront) had a hammock right in front and two very comfortable chairs on the porch to sit and read or get some sun in. We figured out that we could turn our TV to a music station, turn it up a little and leave the front door open, grab a few drinks from the bar, and lay out right in front of our room (very convenient!!) Juan Carlos is the concierge there and he was more than helpful with restraunt and night life suggestions nearby. We will defintely be back to visit the Blue Beach Hotel very soon!!
