Hot, smelly, and noisy

The Good: Location, price, breakfast included.
The Bad: No ventilation, window opened only 6-8 inches with no cross ventilation even with the door propped open. Ask for a fan IF you dare stay here. Since there was no ventilation, the room smelled of the last occupants alcohol and smoking laced sweat. It permeated the carpet, matress, and headboard. Only after 3 days did it abate somewhat after I placed scented soap cakes around.
The Ugly: Since there was no A/C and no ventilation, the window had to stay open. This location is known for the street hooligans who party all night in front of Virgin MegaStore, so we asked for a "quiet" room. Our backside 8th floor was unfortunately over the hotel's Hugo's Rotisserie Bar which was open past 3AM on Friday and Sat night. Most Brits drink in front of the pubs since its too hot inside and it sounded like the party was in our room until almost 4am. No sleep on the weekend if you stay here.
Do yourself a BIG favor and DO NOT Stay here under any circumstances. It is the worst hotel in all my world travels including the Phillipines.
