Waterfront Cebu City Hotel And Casino, Cebu

If you stay here and you are not some big shot then avoid parking the casino parking area because guards here would trail you ask for "something for snacks" or in other words, money.

I was invited to a birthday party...the food was lovely especially the desserts...the staff were very attentive..would go again..

PROs: The driver who picked us up at the airport was prompt and courteous. The room was very clean and in good shape. Excellent concierge and staff services. Very good restaurants and bar. Excellent waiters and barkeep. CONs: 1. Grumpy female teller at the currency exchange center. 2. Stingy on the towels. Standard issue is only two. Had to ask for extra towels from the cleaning guy. I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Cebu. I'd stay there again. It's a decent, clean hotel at a good price.

Customer service is bad. It feels like all the people who work for water front lahug are underpaid. Their workforce needs intensive training for customer service.

My experience at Cebu Waterfront was work related and we staid here for 5 nights. Work we did was just in the function rooms of the hotel and we had so much fun. The hotel is complete, thus, during the stay, we didnt need to go out. The hotel has its own Duty Free Shopping. 2 separated shops - one for luxury item and the other for foods. The gym and pool is big and lots of equipment to chose from. Rooms are good. My room was at the newer building. It's spacious and big. The bathroom wasnt a problem. In the morning the line to go into the breakfast buffet easily gets long but it's worth the wait. The Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby is also great. The bar on the 2nd floor has good ambience and theme. The best part is FREE wifi access in the hotel lobby. Living in this hotel is already complete. No need to go out because everything is within reach.

Everytime I visit Cebu city, Philippines. I always stay at this hotel but unfortunately this past vacation I had, one lobby waitress can ruin the reputation of a hotel. I hope the management will take this employee into action. Give her intensive training on Customer Service and please don't allow discrimination. It is not acceptable. I'm sure that this is not the first time and it won't be the last. Her name tag said "Tere", the incident happened on Feb. 02, 2009 around 12-1pm. I have already talked to the manager on duty that night but unfortunately the waitress left her shift already. Here's a short story, she wasn't very nice to my guests.. I had my guests wait for me at the lobby after they had check-out from their room, know that they were also paid for the room and they should've got a well treatment from the employee. Anyway, when I got back to the hotel and was looking for my guests, saw them sitting on the couch while lobby waitress "Tere" was whispering with her co-worker and pointing at my guests and looking at them like a piece of [-]!! I caught them talking about my guests.. I was mad and when the waitress saw me, they immediately walked away. Now, I am still writing a formal complaint letter to the General Manager of this particular establishment. I can't let this happen again.

i was expecting to get my monies worth in staying in this hotel. from the outside it looks like a palace, upon entering the lobby is magnificent , but upon checking in the service is really bad, rooms are in bad condition, i stayed in a deluxe room which they claimed is renovated but it seems like staying in a 3 star hotel . breakfast is ok . but lunch is terrible... i feel like im in employees canteen . almost all the patron on the day i ate at the coffee shop during lunch time was all employees of hotel . i think they are having a meeting or get together sitted on a long table .rest of the outlet was ok. chinese restaurant is very good . the chinese chef is very accomodating , he personally assists us in our order though i dont speak chinese but he speak a few english and thats ok with me... over all my stay in this hotel was not satisfactory , i was expecting more from this hotel . was expecting a 5 star hotel service but in reality a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel

Not the best in the city but it's in a great location. The hotel itself has lots of restaurants to dine in so you'll definitely have a great time trying out the different cuisines. My main problem with this hotel is that it doesn't have landlines/telephones that can make outside calls in the lobby. They have payphones but they don't work with cash. They only accept those phone cards that nobody really carries around anymore.

Its a nice hotel Directly across the street from the airport. No beach, no waterfront, should be named Airport-front hotel. On the plus side it is a nice hotel. A bit over priced but not hi-way robbery. If you like easy axcess to an international airport stay here. if you like the beach or a central location to Cebu stay somewhere else.
