All these write-ups( including of course mine )are very subjective. It always depends on what you want, expect, see as a problem or not. This hotel is quiet - for me that's top class - and in a safe location. The staff I met were freindly and useful. The rooms are really far too big for me. High-speed internet very useful though. A little gym with a treadmill helps me, otherwise I can't see much of a better place to stay - and especially for the price. if you like walking I made it to the historical centre nice and easy and to the Beaux Arts Museum in about 3/4 hours stroll along the Sherbrooke Street. Saves the unnecessarily expensve taxi outside the hotel - just walk a bit along the road and take a normal bus metro walk (BMW)- half the price - if you need one. I shall stay here again after experiencing many much dirtier, nosier and decrepit places here in Montreal

This hotel is located on a side street off of st denis . Which, like other reviews say, if cafe/bistro central!!! The hotel is small, but thats what I liked most about it. With 38 rooms that is set up like a house, you aren't bothered by massive amounts of traffic. The staff, like every said, is wonderful!! They know english well and treat you wonderfully. The breakfast is a bit pricey (we thought it was included) but you quickly learn there idea of breakfast and enjoy it every morning! The time of year that we went was suppose to be summer-ish weather, but it was chilly and rainy. Although, that never stopped us from enjoying ourselves. I would recommened this hotel to ANYONE. If you want, cute, quiant, and luxury all in one, this is a great hotel to choose. And as far as Montreal goes, take your walking shoes because you will want to walk everywhere. I suggest taking the shopping walking route to the Eiffel Tower and then following the river back to the hotel. You see SOOOO many things and if you see a shop GO IN IT!!! If you have not booked this hotel yet and you are reading this, consider yourself very lucky. Please type those phrases in Google and take your time to research. The reviews will speak for themselves. Tripadvisor has some pretty extensive reviews. Bottom line, they overbook and when you arrive, they send you to another hotel with some story - take your pick - -"film crew in town" -"flood in the room above your room" -"we have never heard of the reservation system you used, we will not honor reservation" - etc etc. If you MUST stay here - USE YOUR CREDIT CARD.

We had a long in advance confirmed reservation for 3 nights but they thought the 3 nights began a day later. They did have a room for the night but said we would need to move to their affiliated hotel for the next two nights "only a few blocks away". (You would think they'd have had the rooms for the nights "they" expected us.) At 329 Ontario we saw no restaurant or fitness room and were not offered breakfast, but comfortable rooms & decent internet. At their Rue St Denis location (an 8 -9 minute walk, across from the hospital, still under rennovation w/a makeshift reception area) we had a bedroom & living room (onto which the glass shower door opened & in which the sink was located). Nicely decorated rooms. Continuous knocking noise in one wall all day & all night, at least it was not in the bedroom. Wireless internet service was intermittent to non-existent.

My girlfriend and I arrived at All Suite VIP Loft with a receipt confirming booking and deposit payment, only to be told by the manager, Jean-Louis, that he had never heard of the booking company and thus did not have our reservation in the system. He refused to acknowledge that we had already paid the property 10% of what was due to the hotel and turned us away, leaving us without rooms. This is perhaps one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had booking a hotel online, as I lost out on both accomodation for my planned holiday and the deposit, which the property refused to refund to me.

My girlfriend and I spent four nights here in the middle of March, and we couldn't have been happier. The rooms are quaint, but comfortable, though for tall people it is kind of a bother. They have exquisite bathtubs, which are equally, if not more prominent than the beds (more or less couch-beds). The location is also very cool, perfect for young couples. The service is not perfect, however I did leave my camera there and they were extremely helpful in getting it back to me. I Though they might not be on top of everything, they are very nice and pleasant people.

This place is amazing, I searched for mid priced hotels in Montreal and stumbled upon this place... we had two couples, they had the most incredible 2 bedroom apartment, with a great balcony in the heart of Old Montreal. Great furnishings.. rarely does anything completely blow away your expectations more than this place did.
