Tropicana Beach Hotel, Bodrum

i've always liked turkey but tropicana beach hotel is deffinately the best....what a holiday!! all the staff were amaizingly friendly, they were good whith kids, very entertaining and so polite. drinks were overpriced in the hotel, but so were the drinks in all the bars and resteronts. cocktails cost around 10 turkish lyr which is about £5 the watersports are fantastic and well worth the money...you can always try and get the price down on everything (watersports, drinks, suivoneres) most of the turkish men are gentlemen but as in england you do of corse get the odd overly friendly men... comments are made to young women but never nothing offencive or rude (they may say you are beutiful or blow kisses at the women) but you should always just smile and walk on. from tropicana beach hotel its about a 10 min walk to bar street or a taxi will cost about £2/3 bar street is quite loud and very crazy there alot of older people go into the bars aswell as the young. the resteronts are fanrasic alaways greate service and amazing food..hotel food is also very nice..you should try the lamb shish or the flaming pot both turkish dishes and fab. also the veiws from the hotel are superb. the hotel rooms are clean and have plenty of space.. balcony is a good size and all have nice veiws. tropicana beach is a wonderfull hotel and i can promis any one who stays there will fall in the love with it :)

this is our second visit to tropicana and i have already booked for our return visit next year.This hotel and staff are the most welcoming,friendly and helpful i have ever experienced.the hotel is fairly small with a huge pool with easy access for the disabled the pool bar is where its happening their is no entertainment on an evening but you don't need it. the hotel is in a nice quiet area of gumbet 2 min stroll along the beach brings you into gumbet and bar street for the night life it means at least when you want to sleep you can you don't have all the bar noise.The hotel is immaculatley clean all the staff are friendly and helpful the manager even let our disabled daughter use his private toilet instead of using the pool toilets as they are downstairs hows that for service.Gumbet itself is brill plenty of nitelife shops and resturants we have been 3 years running and have still not investigated the whole of Gumbet

Tropicana hotel was brilliant for many reasons. The location was nice and the views wonderful. The hotel was very well maintained and looked after. The swimming pool is huge. However it was the staff that made our holiday, from the bar staff, reception staff to the waiters and cleaners. It was down to them that our holiday experience in Turkey was that little bit different from other places we have been to. I would definately recommend this hotel
