Lagas Aegean Village, Irakleides

The only thing we disliked was the fact that you can't throw toilet tissue in the toilet...which is the same for most hotels. Also, it doesn't have the most beautiful beach on the island....but easy to travel and go to other ones...really cheap to rent scooters and the 4 wheel off-roaders! Definitely reccommend the Greece Night that they take you on....somewhere on top of a mountain, overlooking the sunset! One of the best nights, I've ever had!!!! Unlimited wine all night, the best food, and good dancing experience!

The village is beautiful, all rooms have view and balcony, the swimming pools are large, the beach is just in front of the hotel and many activities are offered, both for adults and kids. The self-service restaurant open at lunch was good with enough choice. The dinner and breakfast buffets were GREAT. You can walk (about 10 minutes) to the closest town where you can find plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. You can take a bus there to visit more of the island or rent a car or scooter.

Hotel was great, rooms cleaned every day. Pool, bar and restaurant all very good. Food is ok and buffett style, but can get repetitive and no veggie or kids options. Staff all very friendly and helpful, all spoke english. Kardamena is very lively and mainly for the 18-30 market. But the hotel is a 5 min walk from the centre so far enough not to hear the bars! Hotel bar is nice, but avoid the awful evening entertainment in the disco,drinks are more expensive at that bar & no air con there. Worth taking a bus or hiring a car to go to Paradise or bubble beach, much nicer golden sands and the sea is warmer there!!

The Hotel is fabulous. The staff couldn't be friendlier and the veiws from anywhere on site are spectacular! Having travelled extensively around Europe it is one of the rare places I could and will return to time and again. Kadamena is a short walk away and is a lively resort with numerous bars, restaurants and cocktail bars. This year's animation team at the Hotel are exceptional fun.
