The restaurant Rivage, fine dining in a chic setting is also availabel for business gathering. Hotel completed renovation in 2005, features 399 rooms in 14 floors located at the gateway of Osaka. Whether you are looking for a resonably- priced single room or a deluxe twin rooms, this hotel find you a room meets your need. All rooms are furnished in an elegant and relaxing beige tone featueas duvet, plasma TV set, also internet connection.
This is a typical Japanese "business hotel," which means that you get a very small room, but it's comfortable and clean. The big advantage is that it's very close to the Shin Osaka train station (walk it in 10 mins) with its connections to both the JR rail and the Shinkansen. I knocked a point off for cleanliness because you need to be careful to ask for a non-smoking room (if that's your preference). The other rooms stink of smoke! Pay a small fee at the front desk for a great Japanese buffet breakfast! Also remember to ask for a Western toilet!
As an American woman traveling by herself to Osaka just last weekend (21st thru 24th of April) for a quick getaway, I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff I dealt with spoke good English even though I speak Japanese. The Japanese-style, complimentary breakfast was a fantastic way to start each morning, the Hotel is 10 minutes from Chin-Osaka station (another 5 minutes gets you to downtown Osaka) and there are some really good noodle shops nearby. I found a hard-to-believe price deal on it at the time, and for a business hotel, the room had everything I needed (tv, bed, luggage rack, bathroom,) although if you bring a huge 30" suitcase, you would have difficulty maneuvering it, but I was in a single room. I would definitely recommend this and will stay there again.
