Bad service and mismanaged

The hotel is new and has decent rooms, although they are a bit small. The breakfast buffet is filling. However, the service and hotel staff (at the front desk, including the manager) were terrible, unprofessional, and incompetent. After booking and paying for our room on the hotel's website prior to our arrival, they proceeded to charge me again even after showing them the hotel's own confimation of my payment weeks before (and letting them photocopy their own confirmation)! After talking with 4 different hotel staff at the front desk, they still couldn't figure out their own bookkeeping system. My husband was born & raised in Greece, and he couldn't get them to understand the situation even when speaking Greek to them. After promising that they wouldn't charge my credit card again before leaving, they indeed did charge my card twice on my credit card bill.
